"Spent two nights here and enjoyed it immensely. Most comfortable bed I have slept in in ages. Breakfast had two options - basic continental and made to order. Sue is incredibly helpful and friendly. Parking is directly out front and it’s a short walk to the train to Belfast and local restaurants. For an extra fee we got a load of laundry done too - super helpful. Would definitely recommend. "Culloden is a very pretty spot but service was a bit uneven. Front desk was terrific and could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Breakfast and dining fell short. Long waits and relatively poor quality was out of character with the rest of the property. We stayed two nights and would stay again as its rooms and natural beauty are terrific. The free breakfast was a case of getting what you pay for and the Cultra Inn was very disappointing. We did not try the Spa."

"The garage apt was exactly what our family of 4 needed. All beds and bathroom are up a steep set of stairs, so the extremely young or elderly could struggle, though it is doable with the sturdy railing. Equipped with all the necessaries in a nice neighborhood at the edge of the Woodland Trust which allowed free access to hiking literally right out the back door. The hike afforded beautiful panoramic views of Belfast Lough and the North Channel. Apparently on clear days you can also see Scotland! Host Ronnie was delightful to talk to and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay including access to his garden areas and geo-dome. Wouldn’t change a thing."

"Heather thought of everything when she furnished the Pink Cottage. There were individual jams, butter, fresh bread, cereal, coffee, tea etc. The upstairs loft is spacious with a lovely garden and another little pink cottage that has a living room where you have a fabulous view of the water. There is a microwave, toaster, dishes, utensils etc. There were several tv options. We are big walkers and the path down to the lighthouse connects to the driveway and then the water path. The water to the shower was hot and had good pressure. The towels were bath sheets that were thick and soft. Heather was her husband were always checking to see if we needed anything. I couldn’t recommend a stay at the Pink Cottage more. We would absolutely return. Thank you Heather for being such a fabulous host.🌹"
