"This is a little gem of a place. Incredibly welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, delicious food... what more could you ask for? I shall definitely be returning when I am next in the area! "

"Yes, the bathroom was not clean (hair behind the door). The noise was quite loud from the traffic outside. I also requested breakfast, but when I came to the cafe, nobody was there. I had to then leave because I was late. "

"We had a wonderful 3 night break at The Long Barn in February. The building has been renovated to an exceptional standard, whilst retaining all its original features. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you might need to cook. The lounge area had sumptuous sofas, the bedrooms all with en-suites were extremely comfortable and had great views of the surrounding gardens. We loved the games room especially with a pool table, table tennis table, table football and another TV and more sumptuous sofas! The Barn is approximately 20 minutes drive from Oxford and The Clifden Arms pub is a 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk away with gorgeous food for lunches and dinner. The owners were very communicative and friendly, and happy to help with any requests. We were sad to leave and hope to return in the summer. Thank you Steve and Jane."

"Great location if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Well equipped kitchen, although instructions for the microwave would have been helpful. Comfortable beds and good toilet and washing facilities.Beautiful gardens to wander around.All in all a very pleasant stay,"
