"Fantastic hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. The big attraction is the spa and pool which is a good size and no need or book a time to use. We stayed in a delux room which was very clean and comfortable. Shower could have been replaced with a more modern rainfall as not intuitive to use. The restaurant has a limited menu and the service was a little slow but the quality of the food was very good and the breakfast was excellent . There are many local pubs to choose from as an alternative for dinner. The hotel is used for weddings and special occasions so can be a little noisy at night. Occasions. The outside pool is small but appropriate for the location. Note not all rooms have a/c so recommend check before you book if important. This is a lovely country hotel with a great indoor pool, would recommend for a short stay. We have rated 5 stars."
