We were traveling Route 66 and our first stop was the Gateway Arch. This hotel was convenient loc a Ted directly across the river from the arch plus the casino gave us something fun to do at night. Parking was great, right next to hotel!

Pros: Rooms were clean. Had a fridge. The view of the arch was nice. No smoking in the casino! Great restaurants in the casino but pricey. Bed was comfortable. Nice park walking distance from hotel with a great view of the river, arch, and courthouse. Cons: No microwave. Windows need cleaning. Train right outside window and they start early. The cleaning staff was extremely loud in the hallway and woke us up. This went on for hours.

We stayed there to see Cardinals games. Originally, we took the metro straight to the stadium and back -- which was GREAT! And then we found out that the hotel has a FREE shuttle. That was AWESOME. On the flip side, being a casino hotel, it had its share of "interesting" guests . . . We can't prove it, but some lug nuts on our car wheels were loose, possibly by someone trying to appropriate the rims. Again, we can't prove it, but the lug nuts certainly weren't loose when we parked there . . .
