This house is nicely situated if you want to visit The Rooms, St John's RC Cathedral, or have access to a grocery store. It's a bit of a walk to the downtown.There's a backyard patio for nice weather.In the warmer weather the upstairs bedrooms cool down rather slow.Kayla was quick to communicate.

We loved our stay! Our host Kayla was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. It was very convenient that they had items for young children as we were travelling with our 15 month old. We will definitely recommend this spot for anyone travelling to Newfoundland. Very cozy and clean.

We had a wonderful stay in this home! It was immaculately clean, bright, well equipped and centrally located. The home was more spacious than we expected, with comfy furniture and old charm despite being fully remodeled. Check in was easy and Kayla was very communicative. Driveway parking, groceries one block away and walking distance to all of downtown were all perks. The street is noisy at night with traffic, which we noticed from the front bedroom when windows were open, but the location was great.

Newfoundland vacation

Kayla was so responsive and helpful. The house was better than described, the location is so fantastic with views of signal hill and The Rooms, seconds from a grocery store and liquor store, steps from Tim Hortons and other restaurants and bakeries. Nice level parking and yard. Two parking spaces and a parking pass! Loved the keyless entry. Comfortable beds, comfy couch, nice bathroom with amenities, fans in bedrooms, lots of towels and face cloths, toiletries, hair dryer, washer and dryer, dishwasher, chocolates at the door, safe neighbourhood, police station is across the street. Gas station near by, walking distance to water street, George Street, Duckworth, harbour, the basilica, could even Walk to the battery and signal hill if you are more ambitious! Beautiful dinning room if you want to entertain. The backyard is cute and private. We enjoyed our stay immensely! I loved the Nescafé coffee machine! There was also many flavours of tea and even flavoured syrups for fancy coffee drinks. Thank you so much for being top notch hosts! Also lots of tourist info in the house! Used the smart tv to watch Netflix and Prime. The primary suite is very spacious and has a walk in closet! We loved the detailed welcome booklet also, very helpful and informative. They have thought of everything. Would definitely return!

5 day get away to St John's

This is a perfect spot. Convenient to downtown restaurants. Spotless! Lots of thoughtful touches that make it feel like home. Plenty of space with 3 bedrooms and a good sized living/dining and kitchen. Nice to have laundry facilities & parking. I would highly recommend!!

COMFORTABLE & GREAT LOCATION

We spent a mostly very pleasant 2 weeks here. The house was as described and near shopping and amenities. The problem we experienced was that the smoke detectors suddenly started shrieking at 12:30 a.m. and continued until they were disabled in the morning. We had gone out for dinner, not used anything that could create smoke (there was none) but apparently there was some defect that caused them to go off. The response by the hosts was great and the alarms were finally disabled and we were able to experience peaceful quiet again. The house was clean, comfortable and other than this unpredictable and unexpected issue, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We would recommend this property to other potential guests!

We had a wonderful but far too short stay in this fantastic home in St. John’s. Extremely well equipped and all the small items you could possibly need are there for your use. Kayla is an excellent host with prompt and proactive communications. The house was spotless and well stocked. Kayla offered extra fans in advance (it was 30'C in St. John's) and inquired regularly if we needed anything. She also offered to meet us on our way back to town to get us back my son's hoodie, which he forgot at the house. Thank you!

Lovely home

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean, spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities. There was also a lovely backyard. We appreciated the extra amenities. Because of the downtown location, it is very convenient, though, on weekends, it can get loud at night. This is more of an issue on hot summer nights, as windows need to be left open since the AC only applies to downstairs. Overall, we would definitely consider returning. Thanks for a great stay!
