"The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Sitora. She was able to arrange private taxi for us from Samarqand to Tashkent airport, since we were leaving at 6am- she even arranged lunchpacks for the four of us to have on our journey. The hotel looks and feels very luxurious, extremely large spacious rooms and the biggest shower space i have seen in any hotel! Constantly being cleaned. I would still book this hotel again but some things for management to improve: * The breakfast area need some oversight- items run out without being replaced, no black tea. Loose tea option but teapots all run out too so cant use the loose tea! Serves ham so as muslims we were worried about contamination as they were using the same egg pan for all omelettes with ham option too. Breakfast area staff not as happy to help as rest of the hotel staff. * hotel looks new but fixtures and fittings coming loose, door handles loose, but any issues are sorted out fast. I wouldnt let this stop me staying here again"

"Our stay started really very badly. No answer to our several messages, including reminders prior to our arrival. Upon checking we were asked to pay cash!!! I wanted to rate this hotel for 0 star, but 1 is the minimum unfortunately. After complaining about all this, a higher staff came and solved out the payment by credit card. So being very upset, I've asked to meet with the Hotel Manager. I could meet him on our 2nd day (out of 4 nights booked in this hotel). We could have a straight forward discussion about the mishappening of the unanswered emails and the cash requirements. He was very comprehensive and apologetic. He managed to cool down my dissatisfaction. We all make errors, but most important is how to solve them. He could find a way for an amicable solution and to help us for the late check-out. All the Staff were very polite and helpful to compensate for the initial dissatisfaction. If it was not for the initial problems, I would have rated it with 5 stars. But what is important is the way to solve problems on the spot and not to leave rotten issues without talking face to face. Thanks to the General Manager, Mr. Daler, for his decisions and recovery of the dramatic wrong start. Swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna were relaxing after a day of long walks in the beautiful Samarkand. I may return to this hotel to check if they have improved."

Breakfast was good. The taxi arrived on time; thank you for the complimentary transfer to the train station—a truly thoughtful service. The hotel and museum are stunning and beautiful, offering a genuine glimpse into the traditions and authenticity of the city and the country. You are wonderful. See you next year."

"The hotel has glitz and glamor and the location is good with other restaurants close by. There is a very good restaurant at the hotel also but I did not eat there. There is one thing that needs to be addressed. My tub was very high and there were no grab bars. It looks like there were some earlier but removed later. Also there was a rainfall shower but the glass door did not even cover half the tub area. I used the hand held shower very carefully and even then a little water spilled over."
