You can hear everything in your unit from the center stair case. If there are children in the other units there is no way you’re sleeping past 7. You can hear everything !!! It’s clean and nice. Loved the market down stairs.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was spacious, clean, and well stocked. It was a quick walk to town and having a grocery store just a couple stories below us was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

Large room very clean. The same building had a supermarket to shop and coffee, shops and deli. Very convenient walk to downtown Cruise Bay. New microwave good size refrigerator and stove top. Had a Keurig in there for coffee in the morning. Very responsive maintenance staff.

I loved the space. The location was easy to get to and walkable to restaurants and stores. It was a little hiccup with communication when we arrived but it worked out. Although it was a busy area, it was fairly quiet.

The room was spotless the location was awesome and the convenience of the marketplace downstairs was a huge Plus just a couple minute drive to Cruz Bay. Convenient key access mailbox for our room.

This hotel has everything located inside the building a supermarket bank coffee shop in so much more. The suite is super spacious with a living room, kitchen, huge bathroom and a huge room.. and it’s only 10 minute walk to the ferry wonderful hotel and location

There are pros and cons to staying here, some of which I wasnt aware of, so for future guests: PROs 1. It is on the third floor of a commercial center, so you can walk downstairs to an italian cafe with great pastries, to a sandwich shop, or to a grocery store. Nothing right in the center is open for dinner though. 2. Nice big bed, comfy pillows 3. Walking distance to downtown Cruz Bay. 4. Tons of space, really almost too much. Every room was 10 feet deeper than it needed to be, but if you are planning to waltz, you will have space 5. Easy parking CONs 1. You are staying in what is essentially a shopping center. Staff are shouting greetings pretty early in the morning. 2. there is one small window in the bedroom and the windows in the front are all covered over for privacy (because shopping center) 3. the shower only has frosted glass across maybe 60% of the opening, the rest is open to the world and due to where the overhead shower head is, you will often be standing in full view of the rest of the bathroom, so if you are not with your sig other (I was with my mom) kind of awkward. 4. It is an 8 min walk to downtown Cruz bay and I had no problem with the area, but I have lived all over the world in low income countries before. The area you walk through is a little bit off the beaten path, a little bit run down, and dark. So my older mom was uncomfortable walking in the dark to get to dinner in downtown

The sofa bed had stains that looked like dried blood, so we opted to roll it back up and not use it. We made an incorrect booking mistake and were not checked out on time. We received a call to inform us and were told our items would be placed in garbage bags outside of the room. We had items in the safe, medications, etc. The employee of Marketplace Suites who called escalated to yelling at us while we were trying to find a way to return to the island in a timely manner and correct this. Nicole with Marketplace Suites corrected that statement of a colleague and allowed us to return & pack up. She also contacted another hotel and helped us procure a room.

Love this property! It’s very clean with Comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. Good kitchen area with full sized fridge. Well priced and great location! The grocery store is downstairs which is so convenient. Unfortunately , it is starting to show a bit of wear… one chair the leather is cracking and needs to be replaced, the cookware is Teflon and very scratched ( a healthy and more durable alternative would be stainless steel) and some of the bathroom cabinet door handles are peeling… which is why l couldn’t give it a 5 anymore! All of these are quick, easy fixes because the property on the whole is lovely.
