Caribe Breeze is a very quiet, private villa that can accommodate up to 8 guests with new owners as of Dec 2024. It is now fully solar, off the grid. The villa was featured House Hunters International on the show "St. John Someday." Come see St. John’s natural beauty from Caribe Breeze.

Caribe Breeze boasts extraordinary, expansive views making it a wonderful place to relax - day or evening. British Virgin Islands are on the horizon, with breathtaking sun and moon rises. There are panoramic views of the Virgin Islands National Park, never to be developed. The sunrises and star-gazing are spectacular! Lay on a float in the pool at night and watch the shooting stars. The sound of the constant surf below is extremely calming.

There are two separate Master Suites (one King and one Queen) each with a lovely outdoor stone shower. Both the King and Queen Suites also have a single daybed for a child or extra guest. There is also a queen sleeper-sofa in the living area with its own private outdoor stone shower. Both bedrooms are reached by going outside and are not connected to the main living quarters, ensuring maximum privacy. The two lower suites have quiet Mitsubishi air conditioning. The villa can sleep up to eight comfortably. Pricing is based on two - four guests, and additional guests are $50 per person per night extra. The pool deck makes a great place to watch the tropical sunrises or enjoy a glass of wine or cold rum drink.
We have all the amenities of home, including large Roku TV, beach towels and chairs. This is a comfortable home with gorgeous interiors and furnishings.

You can walk to Salt Pond Bay and John's Folly Bay. There are several restaurants in Coral Bay and the Calabash Market is only 5 minutes away. There is excellent snorkeling just down the hill in John's Folly Bay, or drive a short distance to Salt Pond Bay and Lameshur Bay.

A rental car is a necessity. We recommend a jeep-type vehicle with some road clearance. It doesn't need to have 4WD. I have a list of all the rental agencies in St. John that I can provide, although Slim Man is a great choice. (It is also possible to rent a car in St. Thomas but it needs to be similar to a jeep and then you need to use the car ferry from St. Thomas and back.)

Amazing stay!

We loved the location of this home, its beautiful views, and the incredible pool. We had not previously spent much time in Coral Bay but we fell in love with the area and will stay here next time. The kitchen had everything we needed, the rooms were just beautiful, and the view is amazing. Dave, the property manager, was available for issues and rectified the small issues immediately. Thank you for an incredible trip!

Great Place. Amazing View

This was a truly unique property. My wife and I and our three kids in their 20s stayed there. The location was peaceful and private. We woke up each morning to breathtaking views and the sounds and sights of nature. We had a great time and highly recommend this property.

Excellent view and location

The location of the property is very close to Salt Pond Beach, our favorite beach. Additionally, the home itself is very private with beautiful views. Everything was clean and welcoming upon arrival. The property manager was super responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this home.

Spectacular Sunrise

Caribe Breeze is an amazing villa perfect for a family or two. The views are fantastic and the sunrises worth getting up every morning for. The pool is a lovely addition although this trip was quite windy make it a little cool in the evenings to swim. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal in and the entire house was well appointed. Would return again!

Wonderful Stay

Great stay. The house was very well furnished. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen was great. Dawn coffee watching the cruise ships traverse Drakes Channel. Donkey visits during happy hour. Highly recommend a stay.

Perfect location for a getaway

In short, we had a blast! The house is close to others, but secluded due to the hill it is on. Great having a private pool, and the sunrise views are amazing! Kris had the place immaculate and we will definitely be back.

Terrific views and wonderful accommodations!

We spent 8 nights at Caribe Breeze with another couple and the house could not have been more perfect! The separate suites with outdoor showers were comfy and private. The house is well laid out and has all the amenities you could want. We enjoyed the pool every day after our morning walk to Nanny Point or Rams Head. Hope to stay here again next year!

Great view!

We had a wonderful week here and spent every evening enjoying the view and the breeze on the porch. The location is worth the drive. Miss Lucy's on thur night (at the owner's sugestion) was magical. Can't wait to return next year!

Nice property.

The property met our expectations - quiet, peaceful, private. The owner was very nice and helpful. The property is a little difficult to find and a 4x4 with good ground clearance is recommended the long unpaved driveway.

Can't say enough about this place! We've stayed at many places around STJ and this is one of the best. It has everything you need. the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked with new appliances and cookware, beach chairs, coolers and is very clean. The view, the view, the view! We cant wait to book this property again!

Cant beat the view!

Spectacular view! Great set up for two couples wanting privacy. Pool is cool and refreshing. Sunrises are a must for early birds and even not so early birds. Proximity to less crowded beaches is nice. The road up to the house is less desirable so make sure you have a 4x4!

Doesn't get much better than this!

Our family of 5 enjoyed this stay at every turn. Access to Salt Pond Beach was next door. Miss Lucy's is next door. The neighbors are close but never felt our privacy impeded on. Stay in, go out, it really makes it a tough choice. This is just a spectacular place to call home for a vacation. 6 stars out of 5!

Beautiful view and lovely villa!

We just returned from STJ, after a wonderful 2 week stay at Caribe Breeze. Kris and Lindsay made us feel so welcomed and were great hosts and now friends! The villa has a spectacular view and is nicely decorated. We especially loved the outdoor showers and pool. The road to the villa can be bumpy, but was no problem with our Jeep. Coral Bay is such a great community, with plenty of good restaurant options, so no need to travel to Cruz Bay nightly for dinner. We can't wait for our next visit to beautiful STJ! Thanks Kris and Lindsay!

Absolutely Perfect!!

We came as 2 couples and the house was absolutely perfect! We each had our own private sleeping quarters, but also fabulous space to all hang out together. We spent our mornings exploring the islands, but afternoons were spent in the pool and evenings playing games on the beautifully breezy back deck overlooking John’s Folly. The house was clean and entirely free of insects, which is the first we’ve experienced in our many visits to St John. The kitchen and baths are well appointed. Kris and Lindsey were the perfect hosts, checking in regularly and going out of their way to be sure our stay was, again, absolutely perfect! We can’t recommend highly enough, we will be back (soon, we hope!!!).

Great time at Caribe Breeze

We loved our stay at this villa. It was first time on the Coral Bay side and found it very easy to navigate. Drive up to the villa is a little bumpy, but not out of the island norm. The view was fantastic and the living quarters were nicely done. The master has a nice little alcove with a twin bed, which is perfect if you have younger child. My only complaint is the bed was a little stiff, but in fairness that could have just been a me thing. Linens and bedding were great. The place was exactly as pictured. If you do stay here make sure to stop at Miss Lucy's from the Grouper Rueben. The three outdoor showers are a nice touch. Also very nice breeze at this location.

Vacation Paradise

This was our 6th trip to St John and the 5th villa we've rented. Caribe Breeze is the new favorite. My husband and I spent 10 heavenly days relaxing by the pool and enjoying the view with our daughter and her husband. The sleeping arrangements allowed for plenty of privacy and we all loved the outdoor showers. Each day we'd pile into the rental jeep and go out exploring, but we never stayed away for too long because we loved spending time at the house. We enjoyed eating at the St John Brewers Tap Room several times for lunch in Cruz Bay, but we grilled almost every night at the house. We arrived late on the first night and the villa manager Roseanne was so nice, showing us the way to the house and getting us settled in. I'm about to book it again for next year!

Views are incredible!

We just returned from a week at Caribe Breeze in April 2016. We loved the views of BVI from the upper deck. It was a very relaxing vacation (reading lots of books and just chilling on the deck). We spent our days going to different beaches to snorkel. We saw many turtles and rays at Hawksnest and Maho. Returned home in the late afternoon to swim in the pool (ours kids loved the pool and pool floats) and grill dinner. We had five in our group 2 adults and 3 kids(not the bravest souls) we had the girls stay in the king room with the additional twin and the boys stayed in their private suite on the other side of the pool. The owners were very responsive and checked in once we arrived. The house manager Rosanne was very pleasant and available if needed.

Caribe Breeze has it all, a perfect villa featuring the best of Caribbean views, sounds, and amenities. Perched on an east facing hill above the Caribbean Sea you are treated to BVI and USVI island views, sound of crashing Caribbean surf in the distance, and an inviting pool and decks for all day sun or shade. The Caribe Breeze’s elevation affords beautiful sun rises, bird watching, exhilarating walks and cooling breezes. The house is furnished comfortably with living and kitchen areas upstairs and bedrooms downstairs. All cooking utensils and appliances, electronic device connections, and beach equipment is available. Our party of two couples stayed for 9 days and all was perfect. Our thanks to the owners and managers for a welcoming stay.
