We were met at the ferry dock by Michelle who took us and our luggage to the Grande Bay Resort where she handed us our room keys and gave us an overview of the studio and resort amenities. The studio is well equipped with a small kitchen and washer and dryer with plenty of room for a couple. A view of Cruz Bay from the balcony made for a good spot for morning coffee and the location allows you to be anywhere in Cruz Bay in just a few minutes (including a short walk to the Dolphin Market). We will absolutely look to stay here on our next trip to St. John and are looking at a trip where we jointly book the attached 1 bedroom to make for a very nice 2 bedroom stay for a group of 4 (or 6 if there are kids)

Wonderful Stay!

This was a terrific property. The location can't be beat- just a short walk to restaurants and shops. It was very clean and comfortable, with a spectacular view. I appreciated all the amenities, including beach chairs. I would happily stay here again!

Conveniently Located

We loved our stay here at Grande Bay. The condo was clean and just so convenient, especially at night. The management was very helpful in assigning us a parking spot throughout our stay since the suite doesn’t have an assigned spot. The views were spectacular, especially the rainbows!!!

Excellent property. Didn’t want for anything. Very well stocked. Beautiful view from balcony. Location was perfect. Could walk to restaurants and shopping. Taxi to beaches. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view!

We were very happy with our stay here. It was clean and nicely decorated. The view is wonderful and the location is perfect for having no vehicle. Plenty to do within walking distance, or convenient to grab a taxi.

Great location, studio needs work

Third visit to St John, second time to stay at Grande Bay, but different unit this time. This studio needs a lot of work and a deep cleaning. Several drawers are broken, exhaust fan in bathroom doesn’t work, vents are filthy, bed sheets had a stain, the unit has a musty/moldy smell, as well as everything that gets washed, especially the towels. Overall, our stay in this unit was a disappointment.

Perfect location and amazingly flexible property manager

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Walking distance to everything in town was the highlight of the trip. Paired with a property manager who was extremely flexible when it came to check-in/parking and amazing balcony views....... needless to say we'll be coming back and hope to stay at the same property for sure!!

Beautiful and everything you need!

This unit was perfect for my husband and me. We are in our 60's and the unit is very close to many dining establishments, shopping, grocery store and the two ferry ports. The unit manager provided a wealth of information to make sure that when we got to St. Thomas/St. John, we knew exactly how to get there, what to do and what to expect. A greeter met us at the ferry and drove us to the unit and provided an orientation to the nearby area and the Grande Bay complex and provided his cell phone number to contact him with any issues that we might have. This was very helpful and a very nice touch! The unit was stocked with three extra rolls of toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap and bathroom toiletries, salt and pepper and on our trip a past guest must have left a couple beers (which were welcome and tasty after a long ride and long travel day!). We had everything we needed in order to be comfortable and enjoy our stay. We would definitely stay here again!
