Beautiful views, friendly staff, and close to everything. The room is nice. The carpeting is old, and the bathroom is older, but it was kept up nice. We would stay here again for a short visit.

The hotel room was filthy. We brought our pet with us, and it had base board heating which I dont trust with a pet and the Lakeview you get is kind of on an angle. Under the bed was disgusting, was definitely not prepared to let my pet into this room. The staff was very helpful though and did give us a refund which was greatly appreciated.

The front desk and housekeeping were very friendly. The room was very clean. I liked the knotty pine walls, which invoke an "Up North" feeling. In general the property was maintained but there were a couple issues. The TV remote hadn't been programmed (?) and was NOT intuitive to use. After several minutes of frustration the front desk guy had to be called to get the TV to work. There should be a written instruction posted for its use. The biggest issue for us however was the bed, it is way too soft to sleep comfortably. I could sit on it and sink down almost to the box springs. I did not sleep well and woke up with a sore back. The mattress needs replacement. Just an FYI, if you're sensitive to soft mattresses or prone to back pain you may want to avoid this place. If you like soft beds, this motel will suit your needs.

Floor was dirty and the shower hardly drained, it was a pool of gray water you got to stand in... Positive, the bed was very comfortable and the ac unit did a good job at keeping the room comfortable. When staff was asked for more towels, they provided very quickly.

The property could use some updating in the rooms. The bathroom was extremely small with a very old shower stall. Could have been a little cleaner. Hardly enough room to turn around in bathroom. The beds were nice. The view from the room was beautiful. There was an old upholstered chair in the room that looked quite dirty. Very accommodating for a last minute reservation.

This is a comfy and convenient place to stay in St. Ignace. Right on the beach with a nice firepit and a grassy area for the dog. Easy walk to Jose’s for dinner.

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our stay at Bay View. Housekeeping staff did a nice job of tidying up the rooms each day. Loved the lake view and nice lounge chairs outside by the water. Comfy beds, clean place.
