「All really good apart from parts of the bathroom looking tired and the shower leaking. Also could do with a better shower head. 」

「The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. We happily stay here again. 」

「An overnight stay for my wife and self, a proper pub in a village with decent food and warm exceptionally clean accommodation. Beer was good and locals were friendly, as were the staff, parking in the village square 50 yards from the premises. What's not to like . 」

「I was a bit wary staying at a pub chain but any reservations (except that for my room) were quickly rendered moot when I entered the grounds. The property is set back from the main road with a good drive leading to several parking areas. After checking in I moved my car to the parking near the accommodation which was several buildings surrounding a courtyard area. 「Wonderful and imaginative breakfast menu with many options. Lovely setting on a hillside overlooking the valley and just a few minutes from the sand dunes and beaches of the estuary. Very warm welcome from our hosts and can thoroughly recommend to others.」

「All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. This is the third time we have stayed at the , " Duke of York". The rooms are always clean and well supplied and wonderfully quirky. The food is exquisite, good suppliers and a talented chef make any meal you order an absolute delight. The choice of beers and ciders definately hit the spot and are excellently kept. We will, without question, be looking to return for more stays regardless of the season because any time of year is great here.」
