The location of this property is 10/10. The plantation is beautiful, quiet, and private and we loved being almost the only ones on the beach. The vacation equipment rental was also very nice, allowing us to choose what we needed for a great time on the beach. The porch overlooking the ocean is amazing, and exactly what we were looking for. That being said, there are a few things about the property that could be improved. We had a little bit of confusion about the lock code. I didn’t receive it until after check in, and the code was very long and hard to enter into the door. It took several tries before we were able to get into the property. The door handle on the smaller king bed room is also faulty. When it’s all the way closed, the door can’t be opened from the inside and I got locked in, which is probably a fire hazard. The house was well stocked, but a lot of the furniture and kitchen supplies are a little out of date. Only half of the hot tub jets worked, which was no big deal but worth mentioning. At check out the cleaners arrived very early, making our exit feel rushed even though we weren’t able to enter the house until after the check in time. All in all, it was a great trip. For a party planning to spend most of their time on the beach or out and about, this house is great, but I would suggest making a few small improvements to bring the whole experience up to five stars.
