We had a great time. Everything was nice as expected and the rental served what we expected as far as cleanliness and utilities. We did find a dead palmetto bug under a dinning room chair.The new lounge chairs are perfect.The owners need to get a new outside grill, this one is rusting out and pieces are falling off. The garage door didn’t work as expected but it didn’t work last time either.We will stay here again . It’s hard to beat this rental.Ed

Nice house very close to the beach

The house was very nice, large garage one first floor with full size washer/dryer and 1/2 bath. conveniently the outdoor shower can be gotten to right outside the back of the garage leading into the back yard. Second floor, two decent sized bedrooms, nice kitchen/living Room area well appointed Very nice screened in porch with two sets of double doors from living room to porch. Porch has two ceiling fans, one of them the pull cord fell off in my hand when attempting to adjust it. The screen door that leads to the other section of the porch (not screened in) had some rusty screws holding it in where the piston is, they gave out, looked like they had been replaced/moved before as there was evidence of other holes next to the ones that the piston was attached to. Very minor stuff, probably affected more due to close proximity to the ocean/salt water. The beach is about 200 yards away across one street, totally walkable, not crowded at all. The neighborhood is nice, took the dog out for a walk a bunch, and it's quiet. Would definitely recommend.

My husband, our beagle (George) and I love this house. This is our third visit and I am sure there will be more. Very clean, good location, nice neighbor hood (steps to the beach, close to nice restaurants). What more could you ask for?

Lovely - Peaceful Beachside Bungalow

I have rented a few bungalows in Velano Beach and this one is my absolute favorite - so much so, it will be the one I choose anytime I wish to stay at Vilano Beach (of course if it's available). I absolutely love this bungalow, the decor, the layout, the peaceful street it sits on and my absolute favorite was the long and charming patio - screened in along with comfortable furniture and ceiling fans. When I was at the bungalow that's where you could find me - morning and evening! I love birds and having trees surrounding it, I totally enjoyed the birds singing and chirping. The kitchen was great as well and the bungalow was well equipped. Close to two different beach entrances was a plus for our evening walks and very short distance to St Augustine and great restaurants. Had a great getaway and hope to do it again in the very near future.

Great neighborhood location!

Loved the Vilano Beach area. It was ideal to visit nearby family. We had fun visiting the nearby beach and restaurants. The home was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

Rest in Vilano

The house is beautiful with lots of space. Great location with a block walk to a beach access entrance right on the other side of 13th St. Really enjoyed sitting on the screened porch and listening to the ocean waves each night. Garage was nice, making it easy to load and unload especially when raining. Only downfall, kitchen lacked some basic pots and utensils for cooking. Definitely will book this house again.

Back to Beachside Bungalow

This was our second visit to Beachside Bungalow. This house is very clean and well appointed. It is within steps to the beach and a five minute drive to two nice restaurants. There are seafood markets and produce stands near by for days when I prefer to cook. Downtown St.Augustine is a short drive for browsing and tourist attractions. Our dog enjoys the new sniffs in the back yard. We had a very relaxing week. So relaxing we are going back in two months.

Great Rental and Location

This is a perfect location for a quiet beach that is dog friendly and within a 5 min walk. The house is perfect for four adults and two dogs. We loved the screened porch area and the open planned living and kitchen.

Perfect escape!

Awesome First Visit

This was our first visit to Vilano Beach. This home was a highlight of our time there. It is in the perfect setting and close to the beach, as well as St. Augustine, which was just a quick 6-minute drive over the bridge. The home is well-stocked with all you could need. Each day it felt as if we were living in the treetops! It was beautiful to sit on the screened-in porch or on the open deck. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable. Aunt Kate’s on the river was an easy walk and/or bike ride away. We had a delicious meal there and several beautiful sunsets. When we return to Vilano Beach, we look forward to renting this home again!

Horribly managed.

We were unable to even get to the property as our flights were cancelled and the bridges to vilano were closed and people were evacuated due to hurricane Ian. The property manager refused any refund and stated “hope you bought insurance” I tried messaging multiple times after that to explain that we aren’t even allowed to go but he never replied again. I will NEVER rent from him again. Our other house we rented (we had the whole family going and needed 2 houses) offered a refund without me even asking.
