Can't decide whether to stay at St. Augustine Beach or historic downtown? Don't compromise! This is the perfect location for everything St. Augustine has to offer. Spend a day at the beach and the evening sampling downtown's fine cuisine. Or spend the day lounging around the pool. Walk a few blocks down the road to a full-service marina with boat tours and fishing charters.
Located directly on Salt Run with beautiful views of the Intracoastal Waterway. This well-maintained home is ready to host you and your friends & family. Wake up in the large master bedroom to a private balcony with waterfront views and some of the best sunrises Florida has to offer.
A beautiful kitchen for keeping everybody fed includes quartz countertops & stainless steel appliances, including a gas range. There is also a large dining table with seating for 8 and living room with very comfortable U-shaped couch, TV and half-bath that make for great family & friends time.
As you head out into the backyard, the fish will greet you begging for food in the koi ponds (we provide fish food if you care to feed them). An outdoor firepit with chairs is available adjacent to the ponds. Head up to the waterside rooftop deck for morning coffee, afternoon sunbathing or evening relaxation.
Time for a swim? In front of the waterside rooftop deck you'll find a large 15'x30' saltwater swimming pool. The pool has a large shallow-depth ledge perfect for relaxing or enjoying a book. The pool is available year-round & heated to 80-82 degrees.
The pool and rooftop deck are shared with one other vacation rental on this large property (more on that below).
When it’s time for sleep, a large master bedroom awaits that occupies the entire second story. An additional two bedrooms are on the first floor and come tastefully decorated.
Perfectly situated on a dead-end street just off the main boulevard. You are less than a mile to downtown St. Augustine, just a little over a mile to the Amphitheater and about 3 miles to St. Augustine Beach. Additional nearby attractions include the Alligator Farm, St. Augustine Lighthouse, and Conch House Marina all within biking distance or a very short drive.
Ready for the beach? Six nice quality beach chairs are provided with armrests and lay-flat functionality.
Washer & dryer is available making this rental great for longer stays.
If you're looking to bring more people, there is a second apartment on the property that is also used as a vacation rental. It is two bedrooms, one bath (sleeps 4) and has a separate entrance. That listing can be found here: https://www.vrbo.com/2453519
Other Things To Note:
This is a large property spanning almost a 1/2 acre. There are three separate buildings on the property. Separate from this vacation rental, there is a front apartment unit which is another vacation rental and another house which the owners occupy. Each building has its own dedicated parking, private entrance and share no common walls. The waterfront rooftop deck & pool is shared between all. The fenced-in area with the koi ponds is your dedicated outdoor space. There is a photo that gives a satellite view of the property layout.
The heated pool temperature will be 80-82 degrees. The pool heater cannot function when outside temperature drops below 48 degrees. Therefore during cold fronts the water may drop below our set temperature until the heater can kick back on.
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am and pool hours are from sunrise to sunset.
You will need to supply your own wood for the firepit.
The dock that can be seen in the background of some photos is our neighbor's. Dock access is not available for guests.
