This 2500sq ft villa offers two large bedrooms with luxury en-suite bathrooms on the first floor. these offer panoramic views. On the ground floor, when required, the villa can host an additional private bedroom nook, with a double pull-out sofa bed. This bedroom nook has access to a full luxury bathroom on the ground floor.
All sleep areas are equipped with air conditioning units, ceiling fans and black out blinds. Super-fast Wi-Fi is available throughout the residence with cable TV in every room. Expansive open plan living is a consideration throughout. Bi-fold doors open out onto the ground floor patio seconds from the infinity edge pool and cove. The pool and cove is only ever exclusively shared with the other five villas. We believe it offers intimate elegance, full of energy.

The upstairs veranda opens from both bedrooms onto your own large private deck that offers panoramic views of the manicured gardens, the shared infinity pool, the cove and the Caribbean waters. Enjoy drinks as you stare at the jumping flames from the fire pit. ‘Wah Gwaan’ is a perfect oceanfront retreat and a great alternative to traditional hotels.

The oceanfront cliffs at Chukka Cove are impressive, and extensive, with jaw dropping scenery of the ocean, great for exploring or simply listening to the sound of the waves crashing ashore. The small intimate Cove is genuinely a small hidden gem, sandy, and peaceful for laid-back sun worshipping. A few minutes away is a deepwater cove, protected by a natural headland that encourages that safe tranquil early morning swim, snorkelling or even diving.

A VIP rate of 25% discount for all Chukka Adventure Tours is available to our guests. The largest tour operator in Jamaica, award winning Chukka Adventure Tours, offers multiple locations and tours for your enjoyment.
The Villa manager will be happy to assist you.

We have partnered with Avis Car Rental Jamaica. Registered guests will be offered an exclusive discount if choosing to hire a vehicle during your stay. Please discuss with our Villa manager.

This private villa comes with your own personal housekeeper/cook who will assist with planning the menu for your stay and prepare your meals, if requested. Food is an integral part of Jamaican culture, here at ‘Wah Gwaan’, we also have a dedicated barbecue area and pizza oven, where you or our cook can prepare grilled dishes.

Pre-stocking of food and alcohol for your arrival can be arranged during your booking process with our Villa Manager. Arrangement for delivery of your pre-stocked groceries and alcohol is delivered from our preferred supplier. Of course you are always welcome to shop yourselves at other supermarkets and the Villa Manager along with the housekeeper/cook will be happy to assist. Guests are responsible for the costs of ALL food and alcohol.

This luxury, unassuming Jamaican villa rental practices the traditional but casual way of welcoming visitors. More importantly it summarizes everything that will come with the experience of renting a luxury villa in Jamaica.

While you are here you will live life differently. Your stay will feel welcoming, relaxing and easy because in a nutshell your authentic oceanfront vacation becomes the mini story that can never be written because at Wah Gwaan “Better Never Stops”.

RATES:
PLEASE NOTE ‘WAH GWAAN VILLA’, OPERATES A STRICT MINIMUM TWO NIGHT STAY FOR ANY RESERVATION.

2026 - The rate per night for up to 4 guests US$650 (Feb 1st - Aug 31st 2026) Rate for up to 4 guests US$625 (September 1st - November 30th 2026) Rate per night for up to 4 guests is US$650 (December 1st - December 12th 2026) Rate for up to 4 guests is US$750 (December 13th - December 20th 2026) Rate for up to 4 guests during Christmas period is US$825 (December 21st 2026 - January 4th 2027) Additional guests upto a maximum of 2 is US$50 per night/guest.

The maximum occupancy accepted for the Villa is 6 people, including children. No exceptions!

NOTE: Rates do not include gratuity. Any gratuity is purely discretionary and may be offered directly, and graciously received, to the staff team at the end of your stay.

All adult Guests staying at the Villa are required to complete and sign the Rental Agreement when making the booking, which includes providing photos of government issued identification. These will be checked again for confirmation at check-in.
Your reservation cannot be confirmed without completion and receipt of the rental and incidental damage deposit agreement. The incidental damage deposit will be lodged against a valid credit card with Vrbo, and returned in full after a checkout inspection for loss or damage at the premises.

Airport Transportation is available for our guests from Clarence of Western Jewels Transport our preferred, vetted and authorised provider.

Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay to Chukka Cove. Travel time 90 minutes.Fare 1-4 persons US$100; US$25 per addition guest. Maximum six guests. One way.

Norman Manley Airport, Kingston to Chukka Cove. Travel time 105 minutes.
Fare 1-4 persons US$150; US$30 per additional guest. Maximum six guests. One way.

Local transportation to places of interest, shopping, restaurants and many sporting attractions and beach clubs again is available for our guests from Clarence of Western.

During any requested transport to places of interest the driver will wait for all guests and return them back to the villa.

Extremely beautiful! This was the best Birthday couples trip ever! My husband and I fell in love with this place so much. My cousins were so glad to enjoy the moment with us. We’re still looking at the pictures in awe. The views of the water is so beautiful in person. Pictures don’t do it any justice. I was excited to jump in the cove and swim free and feel like a mermaid lol.Colleen is that girl! Super sweet! Her cooking is so amazing. The oxtails, curry shrimp, rice and peas, and plantains are to die for!!!! She makes sure everything and everyone is good from the time she walks in to the time she leaves. We had great laughs with her. It felt like home. We also enjoyed Clarence our driver. He will make sure you get the experience you need! Great personality, always on time, and very informative. Some great laughter was shared. My husband is still calling him cousin lol. Arthur this was such a great experience as you promised! We will be back for sure. We miss it already! Many Blessings

Fabulous Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Wah Gwaan. Arthur was an attentive and enthusiastic host who got in touch soon after booking with clear check in information and handy tips about the area. We recommend using Arthur's recommendation for taxi hire for a reliable local service who won't rip you off. Our housekeeper, Colleen, was wonderful cooking us a variety of delicious meals with local produce. We collaborated on a menu across our stay to cater for adults and children alike. The villa itself is immaculate with stunning views. We'll be back!

A Piece of Heaven

When I tell you that this is THE place to stay, it couldn’t be any more accurate. Wah Gwaan was superior to other places my family has stayed. We have been to Jamaica a number of times, but our stay here exceeds our other trips to this island. Not only is the scenery absolutely stunning, what made our stay so much more comfortable is that everyone was there to insure we had the best time-and we most certainly did. We look forward to staying here in the future. Best to all!

Great Stay Away From the Resorts

We stayed with our two boys and had an amazing trip. The house was great and as nice as the pictures. The villa owner was very responsive and very helpful with planning meals and transportation. The housekeeper, Colleen, was great. She may be the best cook in all of Jamaica! We spent most of our time enjoying the grounds. The property has a caretaker/security guard, Andrew who lives onsite. During the day he was always happy to show us the cliff jumping and snorkeling sites adjacent to the property. He even took us to a bat cave You can swim into just a very short walk from the property. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway away from the crowds Wah Gwan villa is the place for you.

Can't wait to return

My family and I spent 5 wonderful days at Wah Gwaan Villa. Booking was seamless - the owners, Arthur and Imogen were very communicative and helpful from the outset. The villa is absolutely beautiful - spacious, comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished. The grounds are spectacular with a shared infinity pool, a small cove which is safe for small children and easy access to the sea for stronger swimmers. The area is ideal for snorkelling (the villa provides gear, as well as life jackets). Colleen, the housekeeper, took great care of us. We will miss her wonderful cooking and her kind and cheerful demeanour. She truly is a gem. We were very sorry to leave and we cannot wait to return. Thank you Arthur, Imogen and Colleen for a wonderful stay.

Best Villa in Jamaica Award

Let me first send prayers and well wishes to my Jamaica. Back to Wah Gwaan Villa, my family and I arrived two days before one the most devastating hurricanes the country has seen in years. From day one we were given first class service from Colleen the Chef and Andrew the Security Professional. As many guest write in there reviews the pictures can not say enough about how beautiful and pristine the property and grounds are. The Villa is veerrry clean and modern. Colleen prepares amazing dishes everyday and also keeps the place spotless EVERYDAY. The Villa is perfectly located, very private but very close to some of the islands top attractions . Back to the service and the Villa itself, on the day of the hurricane not once did the Villa loose power or feel unsafe we where watching movies and enjoying ourselves when Andrew made us aware that the Villa has been running on a generator for the past few hours. Again no interruptions in our services for the whole time the hurricane passed through. We always felt safe actually more like VIP, my family and I have stayed in hotels and properties in different parts of the world but by far the service here has blown away the competition. Understand, when most people would have not come to work which we would have understood Colleen and Andrew stepped the service up. Andrew took our family into the Cove to snorkel on the property the day after and each day was off the charts fun.Whoever is reading this don’t delay book it right away!!

Modern Tropical Comfort and Convenience

Oh what an amazing experience. Communications from the host was superb. The villa was perfect. It provided exceptional comfort. Air conditioned rooms. Modern island decor. The grounds are tranquil and beautiful. The team….I cannot say enough amazing things about them. Julisa and Colleen were the epitome of true island hospitality. They took amazing care of us by ensuring that our needs were met daily. They got to know our family and accommodated us accordingly. We had a driver that was recommended by the villa, Clarence. He was absolutely amazing and so professional. He knew how to navigate the roads safely. The villa shares a security guard that can be seen at night. The cost of food is not included. The preparation of food is. Work directly with the host on the most reasonable options for grocery. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

When can we come back?!

We have a pretty good track record with vrbo properties - reality usually matches the description, pictures, etc. This, however, was far better than any words or pictures could describe. I catch myself periodically glancing outside or rolling over in my bed and looking out the window - expecting to see the magnificent sea, beautiful terrain, picturesque pool. But alas, it's just my neighborhood...when can we go back? Everything and everyone was top notch. Arthur is a great communicator and really cares about his guests. Clarence got us everywhere we needed to go - and got us great deals along the way - and always had a great story to tell. Julisa and Colleen were amazing - such good food and just made us at home. Andrew was awesome: snorkeling right out the back door? Yes please! Bat caves? Amazing. We'll be talking about this trip for years! And like I mentioned, I think we'll be back at some point.

Absolutely amazing!

My stay at Arthur and Imogen’s home was so incredible that I wish it never had to end. My friends and I went for a girls trip and we had the most amazing time. The communication was flawless, the property was beautiful and the staff was 100% friendly and accommodating. Definitely consider this place for your next stay! You won’t regret it.

Wah Gwaan Villa is truly a 5-star stay!

We felt elite the whole time. Arthur is a great communicator, answering our questions, and eased our pre-booking concerns. He was in touch after we arrived and before we left, leaving the lines open to reach him. Our driver, Clearance is the best! He's down to earth, friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and so helpful. He even connected us with a trusted driver in Kingston after our stay. The fares are reasonable, and mainly pre-set so no awkward surprises. I highly recommend using Wah Gwaan's transportation affiliates. The two ladies designated to keep us comfortable during our stay, Susan & Tiffany, were FANTASTIC! They were really nice and went beyond to be helpful. The place was well kept - cleaned daily, floors dried after re-entry from the pool. They carefully planned our meals and made good suggestions. The food was, indeed, DELICIOUS! We couldn't have been more pleased with them. The grounds are beautifully kept - clean, manicured, fruited trees on-site (we ate quite a few), and much to explore. The workers were all polite and friendly. The property is a little way off the main road, so we felt secluded, though we had easy access to shopping, food & entertainment. Andrew, the night guard did his job well, and we felt very safe. The Villa has contemporary designs, yet is cozy and feels like home. It's as good as it looks in the photos - no deception. Seeing the photos made us want to go. Being there, now makes us long to return. Wah Gwaan Villa is a true hidden gem.

Wah Gwaan? Just what we needed.

I came to this villa with my family for a much needed break...Wah Gwaan did not disappoint. I cannot say enough about the ease of communication with Arthur who was not only very accessible but was very accommodating when my personal circumstances made it necessary to tweak my booking. Thanks for everything Arthur! The villa itself is exactly as pictured, nicely appointed, very clean and very comfortable. Sasha checked in with us before we even arrived and she made sure we were well fed around the clock and her meals were delicious! it was also a nice touch that she checked in to make sure we arrived back home safely. The direct eyesight line to the pool meant that i could relax in the villa while keeping an eye on my 10 year old in the water which was perfect. We also loved the green space and open feel of the property grounds. All in all an excellent vacation stay...we will be back for some more R&R!!

Breathtaking Views

Wah Gwaan Villa did not disappoint! The perfect combination of accommodations, location and views that Wah Gwaan Villa offers is hard to replicate. Arthur was an awesome host who communicated with me from booking to during and even a post trip follow up message. My family and I are already looking at dates to see when we can visit this breathtaking villa again.

Beautiful Villa and Exceptional Food

The villa is absolutely breathtaking with awesome views of the ocean . The owners were extremely accommodating and professional to deal with throughout our entire stay . The wonderful thing about this villa is the central location to all the major attractions . The young lady that works at the villa -Kascha is so lovely and makes every effort to ensure everything is completed to satisfaction . She is also an excellent cook, making traditional Jamaican cuisine along with other options to accommodate any food choice/ selection . You will not be disappointed. Book your trip today !

Wah Gwaan did not disappoint. It met and exceeded my expectations. The owners, Arthur and Imogen were most accommodating from the time I started inquiring about the villa in December until our departure. Every question was always answered in a very timely manner. They provided great recommendations from the simplest of renting a car to hiring a driver. They are so knowledgeable about any and everything you don't know but should know. They felt like family early on so I knew my arrival and vacation had to be great. It was!The house is just like the oucs. What the pucs don't capture us tge serenity, calmness, and overall essence of how special Wah Gwaan leaves you feeling. It's beautuful, spotless, open, airy, spacious. Pretty much, perfect. The views are surreal. I woke up early morning anxiously opening the shades to take in the beauty of the sea. Then head downstairs to a scrumptious breakfast prepared by Kascha and Sasha. Go authentic with your meals, you will not regret. All but one meal was had at the villa and we wush we'd bypassed it just to enjoy more Kascha's cooking. The staff is a gem. Warning, do not casually say you want to try something unless you really di because Kascha will move mountains to ensure you do. Who could ask for more? She teased our tastebuds daily with either jerk chicken, curried goat, curried shrimp, curried fishoxtails, escovitch, roasted fish with caliloo, pea soup, bammy, festival and the best tasting fruit I've ever eaten. She really is proud of her culture and goes out of her way to share her world with you. It was the simple thing as bringing in fruit from the trees to sample that's situated on the property. Those special gestures are priceless. My fav fruit I tried was the custard apple ( conti); it's like eating a dessert--so,so good among the guava and other things she brought. The location cannot be beat. It's secluded yet ies in between all the excursions you might be considering. We did alot but Dunn's Falls was my favorite along with bamboo rafting, luminous lagoon, and hearing a luve band at Smokehouse Plantation. The most absolutely greatest part of our trip was sitting around the house either on devk or below doing absolutely nothing but sipping on Red Stripe or whatever beverage of choice. Walking to the cove and watching abd listening to the waves was magical as well. This review only allows so many words and I'm near the end. If you're thinking of WahGwaan, just go. Don't Hesitate!!!

Beautiful property. If it’s available, book it now!!

This is a gorgeous updated 2 bedroom with a shared balcony. The area is spacious (indoor and outdoor) and is furnished with an indoor and outdoor dining area. The pool is beautiful and the private beach is amazing. If the waves are light, you can go snorkeling. What made this property unique is the host, the chef and their grounds driver. The host resolved the only 1 problem we have (at around 5 am), and Kascha cooked the best food. Definitely try her oxtail and shrimp curry! Amazing! The driver Clarence was also extremely professional. He drove us around town, brought us things we needed at the house and overall pleasant to deal with.

One of the best experiences. Property is private, clean, spacious and very accommodating to your needs. Sheila the host was super welcoming and Kosha was the house chef was pleasant. Loved my stay here. ❤️

The Perfect Quick Getaway!

Such an amazing stay. I literally have nothing to complain about. This house and its locations feels like a place out of a movie. EVery morning waking up felt unreal just walking out of the villa towards the beach. Out of all the 7 villas on the lot, this is the bets on in my opinion. The service was also top notch. The host Sheila accommodated us on short notice and made sure we have everything we needed for our stay. Kascha (The House assistant) was there to assist with anything we needed and she prepared out meals daily. The food was fingerlicking good. We will definitely be back!
