"We stayed here for my daughter’s birthday, as we were taking her to grand bear lodge. The place has a really cool feel and plenty of room for the family. Everything appeared very clean and organized. The only issue I came across were a few large bugs. I wasn’t too surprised considering it is directly next to the water, and I did let the owner know. Otherwise the stay was great, easy communication and access to the area. Wasn’t able to try to sushi restaurant since they were closed for a vacation...

"We had a great time in this house. Very clean and well stocked with the essentials needed for a short weekend getaway. The property manager, Elaine, gave us plenty of area information to get acquainted with what’s around in the neighborhood. It was our first time using VRBO and everything ran smoothly. We will definitely be back soon. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a short distance away from Starved Rock."

"Clean, looks just like picture. Easy to get to. Calm quiet neighborhood just a few minutes from Kroger grocery store and main road with eateries. The Salt Tree Yoga Spa Ottawa is so close to this home, so we got our spa on, grabbed some groceries, and chilled out at a home away from home:). Bare minimum supplies but got the job done for dinner, snacks, and breakfast. Would definitely come back."
