Weeki River Lodge Star5Vacations

  • Impressive tri-level 3 bedroom log home on the Weeki Wachee River - five miles downstream from Weeki Wachee Springs State Park. This 1700 sq. ft. home has a sleeping capacity for 10 people. Amenities include kayaks (5 singles, 1 junior, kayaks may vary. Rentals available nearby), a spacious ground level screened entertainment room featuring a mini-kitchen, half bath, large TV with ample seating, river-front dock with lounge furniture, fenced grounds, Wi-Fi, five smart TVs, 2nd story deck off the living area, lower waterfront paver patio with BBQ grill and an outdoor shower, cold A/C, child gates, and on-site parking.

    See manatees right in your backyard. During the winter months they are very frequent.



    Other things to note:

    LATE CHECK-OUTS & EARLY CHECK-INS: Check-in time is 4PM and checkout time is 11AM. Door codes do not activate until set check-in time. Early access will not be provided without prior approval. Guests who check-in early or checkout past checkout time will charged the additional fee of $50/hr.

    DAMAGE DEPOSIT: A damage deposit of $100 is required at time of booking. This is collected by credit card. Your deposit will be refunded in full by credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.

    SECURITY CAMERA: There is a security camera facing the driveway that will be on during your stay. Any pets or extra guests seen on property is subject to a charge.

Our family absolutely loved this home. We stayed over Christmas with a mix of local family and Minnesota family. So much outdoor hang out space, plenty of kayaks on site that we enjoyed daily! You cannot access the water from the dock but there is a very easy water access on the side of the house. Big, fully stocked kitchen, pantry to prep family meals. The bottom floor was perfect for hanging out, kids playing games, and even a fire pit with lots of chairs outside to enjoy the evenings.

Good location, plenty of space

Plenty of space for a big family gathering. Mind the time of year if you’re expecting to see manatees as there is a “off season”, but no matter the time of year this location is very pleasant and the owners were very easy to work with.

Beautiful cabin on the springs

Beautiful cabin on the springs, The rooms were clean and well thought out. The game room was a nice. Loved the location as it relates to kayaking. Brunch on the deck was one of my favorite parts.

Grandson's Spring Break Fun

Great accomodation. Nicely equiped. Great with kayaks and games. Canal location afforded views of manatees. Loved it and look forward to our next experience at Weeki Wachi.

Great location

Loved that the house was on the water. We saw manatees swim by. The ramp into the water made getting in with kayaks easy. The big deck and patio were great spots to hang out.

Great house for multiple families

The house is in a great location just off the main river. It worked wonderfully for multiple families with lots of activities for the kids to do. The dock worked great for our 24' center console boat.

Great House and Location at Weeki

Lower outdoor space was wonderful. Enjoy jumping in off the dock and paddleboarding. Brought our boat and had no trouble on the dock. Would rent again.

Kayaking the Weeki

Great property, so easy to kayak on Weeki. Living room was roomy with large sofa that all 4 of us could stretch out on to watch the big TV. Downstairs was really big area to play games and watch TV and outside deck was really nice to relax and watch the water. Quiet neighborhood and management answered any questions quickly. Very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent it again!

Spring Break in Florida

This is the third year in a row that we have stayed in this neighborhood for Spring Break. This was our favorite property so far. Close to the main river channel, a short distance to the Gulf, close to local restaurants and amenities, ample kitchen, and plenty of kayaks. Hopefully it will be available next year :)

For n River Weekend

We loved our stay on the Weeki Wachee river. The home was beautiful and perfectly located. Kayaking along the river, we saw manatees swimming by along with beautiful scenery. The home had everything we needed for all our meals. We hung out on the dock fishing for mullet, mango snapper and other varieties of fish. Excellent weekend on the River. Will definitely come back.

Let me say we it is a great location and area under the house was great dock great. Before I wrote this, Know I would not bothered if I had got a response from rental company but I called the rental company THREE times while there. I finally a person taking a message by a VERY Rude man( apparently I upset him when I asked if he was a call service or the rental company, He said "why does it matter the manager will call you back when he can". I still have not had a call back. Know a lot of things are in disrepair. Right away when you get there no handle on screen and fence gate broke.The most obvious was when you go up stairs to deck you are taking your life into your hands, several areas rotted through( VERY dangerous), boards lifting up.Handles on both sliders upstairs were broken, you can not get in laundry room without holding the frame of the door back. My daughter got locked in down stairs bathroom door because lock stuck. Upstairs toilet runs all night. Importantly the A/C in the lower two bedrooms don't really cool the room at all.Grill insides disintegrated bring some foil or a grill pan for the grill. We got there was two empty gas tanks. lucky the one on the grill lasted our stay.Also the house was very clean in general , but lots of stains on sofas

Weeki Wachee Oasis

Thank you for having our family in your beautiful Weeki Wachee River home. We loved everything about the house, from the unique decor, super comfy beds, with everything one could need upon arrival. The outdoor lower level entertainment area was great for the family/kids. The home sits on the water where just around the bend via the provided kayaks, you’ll find the crystal clear waters you’re looking for. We loved the log cabin style construction that makes the home that much more unique for the area. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!

Family vaca on the river

Love the location of the home. It was clean when we got there. However, we walked into a puddle of water in the kitchen and it was a little annoying to have water dripping on us as we cooked which wasn't too big of a deal but never got the problem resolved while we were there. We still had a great time and the house is in a great location and had lots of amenities! Sad we had to leave a day early because of a hurricane 😥
