「So nowhere did the Hotels ad inform us that this was a whole RESORT. Like 700 acres of resort with an activity schedule and stuff to do everyday! That was a really cool bonus, but the ad made it seem like a small collection of tiny houses, nothing more. So when i areived at midnight, we had our Uber driver drop us, two adults and 3 children under 8, off at the main building. Thank god for Philip with security!!! He helped see the funny side and empathized with me after the major travel struggles...

「This is a nice, older large house on the lake. It was a good location, right on the lake, and there were enough canoes and floats for the kids to use, with spare life jackets. Our only gripe was that the kitchen was not well-equipped. There were no pots and the pans, knives cookware was really old and unusable. 「It’s a simple hotel but it’s convenient. The front desk person (David) was as good as a person can be. The person checking in before me was elderly and had some special needs. He escorted them to their rooms. I’m on a bike tour with a touring bike and 4 saddle bags. My room was on the 2nd floor (no elevator) - David helped carry my bike up the stairs while I carried my bags. Kudos to David!」
