"Pros: Das Haus liegt am Ende einer Sackgasse und ist von einem schönen umzäunten Garten mit altem Baumbestand und einem Ententeich umgeben. Es verfügt über vier separate Schlafräume, was für unsere Reisegruppe sehr wichtig war. Auch 4 Fahrräder sind vorhanden. Cons: Mobiliar und Ausstattung sind in die Jahre gekommen und es gibt keine Schränke in den Zimmern, aber insgesamt ist alles Notwendige vorhanden, sodass wir uns doch sehr wohl gefühlt haben."

"This hotel is very convenient if you are going on a cruise out of Rotterdam. The train and metro took us efficiently from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam and then to Rotterdam and the hotel. The metro is about a 5 minute walk to the hotel and the hotel is across the street from the cruise port. Check in was very slow and inefficient. The rooms had a modern feel. The buffet breakfast was excellent with many choices. Many of the rooms looked out onto an inner space for light. The hotel is not centrally located but is was an easy walk to see the old New York Hotel and the old Rotterdam ship. It was also an easy walk across the Erasmus Bridge to the worthwhile Spido Harbor Cruise which highlighted the inner workings of the huge harbor."

"We had a fantastic stay at citizenM Rotterdam! The staff are outstanding—incredibly friendly, hard-working, and genuinely dedicated to making your stay great. The hotel’s quirky design brings so much character to the experience. While the rooms are compact, they are impeccably clean, highly comfortable, and elevated by fun features like customizable mood lighting. We were also lucky enough to have a beautiful view over the Old Harbour. The communal lounge spaces are equally well-thought-out and unique. Location-wise, it couldn't be better: right on the Old Harbour, a short stroll from the Markthal, and steps from Rotterdam Blaak station for effortless train, metro, and tram links across the city. Highly recommended, and a big thank you to the whole team for a brilliant stay!"

"We stayed in the quadruple room, which was a large room with proper beds rather than sofa beds. Liked the wooden floors. Bathroom basic with small towels but fine for a two night stay. Staff were extremely helpful in assisting me pre-booking the car park. Great location for staying in the city."

"Hotel was close to Rotterdam Central rail station. However, access was impeded due to major road works on the street outside the hotel. Some upgrade work was also being carried out inside the property. Breakfast was very adequate. The room was medium to small, but more than adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Another spot with a great location and comfortable bed - my must-haves when travelling. Hotel Rose was very clean and in a great location - easy walks to places and access to public transportation. They have a nice lounge area with espresso drink machine and tea, also a filtered water station for filling your water bottles before heading out for the day. The missteps were as follows: The day before check-in, they sent a PDF attachment and message through Expedia providing information for the upcoming stay. This PDF said check in begins at 15:00 (3:00pm). I arrived at the hotel around 12:45pm, just as that's when I happened to get to the area and wanted to drop off my bags. I was not expecting to check in. But I came back a little after 2:30 hoping that maybe my room might be ready then given the 3:00pm check-in time. They said it was not, so I sat down in the lounge to cool off and wait. By 3:05, I went up and asked if they had an ETA for the room (I also want to note that guest after guest had been funneling in by this point and they were all told to have a seat as none of their rooms were ready either.) They told me the ETA was 3:15 for my room. No biggie, I thought. I sat back down. About 3:17 I go back to the desk, but nobody is there. I wait for close to 10 minutes before two staff members come down the elevator and a different one proceeds to help me. She immediately tells me check-in is not until 4:00pm. I ment"
