Hill end which is about a 25 minute drive is back to basics for families wanting to relax by the river with a picnic or a BBQ. There is also an ice cream van so the kids can enjoy an ice cream or ice lolly. Wolsingham and Stanhope are well worth a visit too. Stanhope boasts an outdoor swimming pool and there are a few public houses and cafes. If you want to visit the stunning Durham City and all its attractions then it is a ten minute drive away but there is a good local bus service if you wish to use this.
On entry is the large, bright and colourful lounge which includes two large, comfy sofas and a Freeview Smart TV. The open plan kitchen and dining area follows with a six seater dining table and all the essentials you will need throughout your stay including utensils, toaster, microwave, washer dryer, a fridge and a freezer. On the lower floor there is also a toilet.
Upstairs is two double bedrooms and a single bedroom with each bedroom having ample storage for your clothes and belongings for the duration of your stay. The master bedroom also benefits from having an ensuite with a shower.
The family bathroom is also upstairs and includes a bath.
Externally is a large garden which guests can use with outdoor furniture.
