  • Come enjoy our cabin nestled in the trees. The open floor plan and many windows makes for enjoying the sunshine from any angle. You can relax on the large deck, hang out in the loft, cozy up on the couch or take a walk down the paths to see the wandering creeks.

    Our cabin is surrounded by 65 acres of trees, trails and streams. Feel free to enjoy the out door grill (bring charcoal) or bring fire wood for the fire pit, and take in the sounds of nature.

    Just down the road from the entrance to Fall Creek Falls State Park, where you can enjoy hiking and several amazing waterfalls, swimming, kayaking and many other activities. This park is what we fell in love with and decided to stay in the area. We hope you love it as much as we do. There are MANY other parks and water falls near by and also a horse riding stable just up the road.

    Inside the cabin we have tried to make it as comfortable and welcoming as possible. We have stocked the kitchen with some of the most used items, salt, pepper, spices, coffee, etc. There is a k cup style coffee maker, as well as a regular coffee pot. The living room is cozy with an electric fireplace. There is heat and ac. The bedrooms are spacious and inviting.

    There are security cameras on the property for your protection and ours. We DO NOT allow pets.

Great stay! 12 min drive to Fall Creek Falls State Park and 30ish minutes to Rock Island State Park. We loved both parks. The cabin was perfect for our family of 6, highly recommend!

The cabin was a perfect place for our get away weekend with family. The cabin was very clean & cozy and decorated nice. The cabin was furnished with everything we needed for eating meals and cooking utensils furnished so all we needed was our food. It was very peaceful to sit outside and enjoy time on the deck, around the fire pit and walking around outside. It made a great place to come back to after time spent at Fall Creek Falls. We loved it and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay and we would love to come back sometime.

Cabin was in a great location. Great place to come back to after hiking and kayaking. The beds were comfortable. There was enough room for a family of 5. I really enjoyed drinking a hot cup of coffee on the back deck in the morning while my boys explored.

Our stay in this cabin was wonderful! It is about 10 minutes from Fall Creek Falls State Park. The cabin was clean when we arrived and it had everything we needed to cook a few meals and enjoy our stay. It was quiet and peaceful. The grill and fire pit were nice as well. The host was very responsive to questions.

We had a great time at this little cabin in the woods. Perfect for our family of 5 and great location for lots of hiking and exploring. Hosts were responsive and we would love to return one day should our travels take us back to the area.

Excellent place to stay near Fall Creek Falls! The location nestled in the edge of the woods was quiet and peaceful. The main living area of the cabin is open, spacious, and comfy. The natural light is great throughout the cabin. The loft is especially nice. The kitchen is well-appointed. We saw deer and a groundhog outside- and of course lots of birds. If you're used to a King bed, the queen in the main bedroom will feel a bit "cozy"- but still nice and comfy. Communication from the host prior to the stay was effective and timely, and I know they would have been responsive if we needed anything during our stay (which we didn't). I'd definitely recommend considering staying here if you're visiting the area.

Perfect vacation!

This property is absolutely beautiful. If you are traveling with kiddos like we were, it was the absolute best mix of outdoors and 'hotel' for our trip to the State park.

Weekend Escape

A great property for our weekend away. The deck was perfect for watching the stars and listening to nature. Nothing extravagant about this place, but was nice and very convenient to Fall Creek Falls State Park.
