A perfect concept

We slept here to split our trip from Ängelholm to Grebbestad in half. First time but certainly not the last time we stayed here. Perfect concept: with all codes, we received in advance, we managed very well. Clean and modern room to get some sleep and perfect breakfast at the neighbors (Espresso House) was the prick on the i! Thanks for a perfect experience 😊

Good hotel with breakfast at Espresso House

We were there for a trip to Tjörn and booked the hotel for the good price and good reviews. The hotel and room were really good, not too big, but fulfilled the need, clean, modern and good and calm air condition which was really needed as it was hot outside. The hotel completely digital check-in and that all worked perfectly, but I think it is a bit missleading to have the images of Espresso House as the first images of the hotel. When I got the information about digital login a few days before I got unsure and double checked if breakfast is included, which it is, but the breakfast is that you get a voucher for a free breakfast at Espresso House. That was good and sufficient for us, but from start we were looking forward to a traditional Swedish hotel breakfast buffé so were a bit dissappointed in the beginning, but it was good once we adapted to it 😉 Had to call the staff once and got friendly support immediately! So would book it again, but I think the breakfast part can be made a bit more clear.

Practical accommodation

Easy check-in (got 4 sms with codes; better than nothing). Free parking. Very close to Circle K with chargers for el-bil and a kiosk, and to fastfood restaurants. Fridge in the room (but it doesn’t get cold). Good thing, there’s also a common fridge with freezer at the end of the hall. Needed that for my meds. As for breakfast, we went to Circle K at 8am but the staff didn’t know anything about the vouchers. She asked someone else, came back, and told us we could get a toast and a juice or a cup of coffee. She didn’t seem happy to have us, so we went to Espresso House - with a pleasant staff. We got vegetarian sandwich (not our choice), coffee, yogurt and juice. Could be better, given the price per night. Otherwise, it’s an okay stay!

Really nice hotel! Codes by sms for front door and room. Even when hotel doesn’t have own breakfast. Solved by coffee shop around the corner. Burgers and gas station just beside as well.

This hotel is located on the highway, as part of a petrol station. Other facilities include a Burger King restaurant as well as a Subway restaurant, a local coffee house and a gas station. The hotel is fully automatic so we did not interact with any staff. Breakfast was way below the average for Sweden.

Had to stand in the rain to get thru the front door so a small portico would help also where to park is not clear so we used the Burger King spaces as none were marked for hotel guests. Otherwise the room was fine and very quiet and breakfast was also quite good at Expresso house next door. Overall I like the concept but you need to be able to contact someone at all times so a contact number in room would help.

Nybyggt hus med självincheckning och yale-lås till hotelldörren. Rent, enkelt och fräscht rum. Frukost fås på Espresso house som ligger i samma byggnad. Vi bodde 3 nätter så frukosten i form av macka, juice, yoghurt och varm dryck upplevdes lite upprepande redan dag 2.

Katastrophal

Dieses furchtbare Hotel unbedingt vermeiden. Wenn sein muss, niemals im Parterre Zimmer annehmen. Wir haben leider ein Zimmer im Parterre bekommen. Das Zimmer hat statt Fenster eine Metalltür, die zu einer befahrbaren Straße ohne Gehsteig aufgeht. In der Nacht haben ein paar Betrunkene vor dieser Tür randaliert, einfach schrecklich. Man kann sich niergends beschweren, da es kein Rezeption gibt. Mit einem Gutschein kann man zum Frühstück im benachbarten Café ein Sandwich, ein Yoghurt und einen Kaffee bekommen, also kein Büffet. Ich war froh, als ich diese Ortschaft verlassen konnte.

Mer ett motell med Burger King mittemot. Frukost via kuponger på Cirkle K eller Espresso House. Vi valde Espresso house och det var en helt ok frukost. Parkering med tillstånd i direkt anslutning till hotellet gratis.
