With a dining table, lounge, and balcony large enough for everyone, our group of eight adults (ages 19–60) never felt crowded. There was a perfect balance of communal areas and private space to spread out.A Haven in All Weather. Even during a week of rain, the house was a beautiful haven. We spent our time in total comfort, looking out over the stunning views of Cairns and the mountains. Exceptional Facilities & Cleanliness. The house was exceptionally clean and styled with simple, tasteful decor. We loved the generous kitchen facilities and were especially grateful for the thoughtful pantry staples provided.Seamless Communication. From booking to departure, communication with Jacqueline and Richard was efficient and friendly. Instructions for arrival were clear, and any inquiries we had during our stay were met with prompt, helpful responses that were never overbearing.Highly Recommendt.This accommodation turned a good holiday into an amazing one. "Beautiful house that suited our group. We had a lovely time and particularly enjoyed the pool and tennis court. One thing, the bedding configuration section advertised that one of the living rooms had couches that made 4 beds. In reality, one living room had 2 couches and the other had 2 couches. This was problematic for us as we were expecting to put three teenage girls together."

"Beautiful location with lots of natural beauty within driving distance. Well decorated and furnished place. The washer and dryer are fairly small. We had a few appliance issues that the hosts worked with us to fix."

"This is the second time we have stayed at Kristina’s lovely house. It is a very quiet and clean house with plenty of room for a family of 5. The highlight of our stay is the pool being heated adds extra incentive to swim and play in the pool. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen and BBQ has all the equipment to cook a meal. "We had a fantastic stay at Mountain Breeze Retreat. The home is beautifully designed with gorgeous furnishings, stunning views, cool breezes and a well‑equipped kitchen. Everything was spotless, the beds were super comfy, and the pool was a standout — crystal clear, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The hosts were wonderfully friendly, gracious and helpful when needed, and their sweet little poodle made the stay even more special. We’d return in a heartbeat!"

"This was a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. The air conditioning also worked extremely well. The bed was very comfortable with space around it to move. The kitchen space was small but highly functional. I must add that the convection stove worked extremely well but there was a bit of a learning curve to turn it on. Thankfully, there was a manual in the bottom kitchen drawer. The photos posted on the website did not do justice to the elegance of this place. It was gorgeous. I loved the phone charger outlets that were located on each side of the bed and on the desk. Since traveling with a phone is universal, I think all places should have these type of outlets. They are not expensive but make life so much easier. The pool and deck outside the room were so convenient. We had our morning coffee outside everyday while being entertained by the birds. The yard was tastefully landscaped and maintained. It was also full of birds all day long which filled the air with peaceful bird songs. The property is located in a quiet suburb so the only sounds you hear are the birds.Jen was great at communicating and always proactive. I loved this place. I'd highly recommend it to any couple. "
