Downtown Spearfish Historic Home

This early 1900s home was recently renovated and provides a perfect base for exploring the Black Hills. Only two blocks from Downtown Spearfish, it is an easy walk to great restaurants, coffee shops, live music during the summer's Downtown Friday Nights, Spearfish Creek, and the Farmers Market. Enjoy summer evenings on the front porch or riding one of the provided bicycles by the creek.

A one car garage provides shelter for vehicles. The fully fenced back yard features a fire pit!

No house parties please. We ask that you respect our house and neighbors. Thanks!

You’ll have access to the whole house. Enjoy it as a second home!

We are always available to answer any questions or help out in anyway. You can message us through the Airbnb app or give us a call. We want to make your stay as comfortable as possible, so please do not hesitate to reach out!

The neighborhood is in a very safe part of town, with plenty of parks nearby. You’ll be located very close to downtown with grocery stores, coffee shops, small businesses, and restaurants.

Charming property

Charming property that was perfect for our family in town for a funeral. The large livingroom with plenty of seating was perfect for us to relax and be together before and after the funeral.

Hard water gave us itchy red skin, water softener was almost completely empty of salt, toaster oven/airfryer was disgusting,racks and drip pan were filthy( used brillo to clean) so we could use but the walls were so filthy with grease it smelled awful,4 windows unlocked and 1 didn't have a lock, gas fireplace not lit, host came to light but the only way to turn on/off was by getting on the floor removing lower grill to flip switch- host was supposed to contact owner for instructions to use remote,never heard back, the grill was supposed to be clean grease pan (as per instructions ) but it was almost 1/2 full, no light by the grill, no shoveling done to get there, had to ask where a shovel was (at least 6" of snow on the ground") no tissues , no pen/paper, no house instructions - ie: the kitchen faucet is a touch sensor,3 tv remotes,etc Instead of having breakfast at home-we had brought bagels and cream cheese-we had to eat out every day. 3 skillets were old oil grease stains and one looked worse with more active grease stains, had to dust off shelves in armoire before we put clothes in.The yard hasn't been cleaned up in years, windows filthy from years of dirt etc,house is very dark except except living room.Host not responsive,good lip service but no action. Host was to talk with owner about how to operate fire place remotely and bring boot trays next day- nothing . Very frustrating stay. Dishes clean, beds comfy, bath towels nice,house appeared clean.

Great Central Spearfish Location

We visited Spearfish for a family wedding and chose this location because it was close to the wedding and also to beautiful Spearfish Canyon. We didn’t anticipate the easy access to downtown which is just two blocks away. Restaurants, bars, and Friday night live music were just a stone’s throw from the front door, This property is in decent condition. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms are updated. There is good WiFi and a nice office area which was great as one of our party had to work remorselessly one day during our visit. We really enjoyed the comfort and convenience of this historic downtown home.

Just what we wanted

We had five adults and three dogs for our stay. This place was perfect for us. Everyone had plenty of room, bedrooms were spacious and the fenced in back yard was great. Walked to coffee shops each morning. Hiked the hills with the dogs during the day, then let them sleep in their kennels to rest while we went to dinner. Came back and everyone could visit in the backyard while the dogs played. Couldn’t have asked for better. We had a snafu with our trip plan and host was VERY accommodating and quick to respond. House was better in person than in the photos. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great vacation with my adult children!

Graduation weekend

Stayed with my sister and our families for BHSU graduation. The house was centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of extra blankets. The manager was very responsive and helpful when there was a problem. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Spearfish Home

We were in town for a memorial so we just stayed one night. We were traveling with my aunt that has dementia and wanted a more homey feel. This was a beautiful home with a nice back yard. It would be perfect for a large family. I like that it is all on one level. Thank you.
