"Review for Tingum Village, Harbour Island My wife and I had a smooth and pleasant check-in at Tingum Village. We were given a wonderful room with a comfortable king-size bed, and it set the tone for a fantastic stay. The staff were exceptional—helpful, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. This isn’t a 5-star hotel, but it delivered exactly what we were looking for: comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality. It felt like a true home away from home. "We came with our kids and grandkids and had the best 10 days! The location of the house to the beach was fantastic. The beach is a giant sandbar that you can walk forever and never find the end of. It was shallow and glorious on hot Bahama days. Having a pool at the house when we were done at the beach was even better! When we were done in the sand and salt, the pool was a welcome afternoon activity. We loved the outdoor shower and used it daily. Rachel and her son were welcoming and on top of anything we needed while we were there. The only negative is the bedroom/great room upstairs. It's not a room at all, but a landing that is open to the rest of the house with curtains for privacy. We had a one year old with us and that was the only area big enough for the pack and play and mom and dad, but did not serve well during naps or bedtime. The lack of an actual fourth bedroom could be stated clearer on the listing for people travelling with kids or wanting more privacy. Other than that we couldn't have asked for a better house or a better place to spend our vacation."
