「This cabin was perfect for our fall weekend getaway. Location is perfect - feels secluded but just a short drive to both Blowing Rock and Boone as well as many nearby trail options for hiking. The cabin itself is just as described. Kitchen and bathrooms are updated, and the living areas are cozy and nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable with memory foam mattresses, and linens were clean and fresh. Kitchen was well stocked with basics and everything was spotless when we arrived....

「Spaciousness and view the best things. Amenities were VERY limited, and when some yahoo rode by oou patio on some kind of ATV for an unexplainable reason at 8AM the morning after we arrived- that woke us up. 'Popcorn and a movie' the following night was equally disappointing. Yes, the movie played, but no popcorn offered, and the latte machine near that area didn't work. Staff was friendly and as accomodating as they could be, but this place is still a work in progress.」

「Of course the building is old but in pretty good shape!! You can just feel the history and image what it was like many many years ago! Great food and the Bartenders were the best!!! My wife and I will be back!!!」
