「Great place to stay.」

「Very cute little place. Good for the money. Could use a better cleaning in the shower bathroom etc. 」

「This motel has a throwback vibe. The owners have worked hard to upgrade the inside but not too much. (Still has pint tile in the bathroom.) It has a few drawbacks (small bathroom with thin towels and skimpy breakfast) but the coffee was good and the room was quiet and very clean.」

「Our room TV wasn't working. Management came quickly after trying to fix moved us to a new room. This is my 2nd time staying here. Basic rooms with lots of problems but very clean. If you don't mind basic then I would stay here.」

「The front staff were amazing. They answered all my questions and fulfilled my hotel needs/request. The rooms are updated and well kept. Will definitely stay again when in Independence, KS.」

「Seems this hotel is older but for $58 it was as nice as hotels l've stayed in for twice as much. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the normal fare ( not much ,waffles, fruit, cereals and muffins), but l was ok with that. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. I am perfectly happy with my stay and would stay here again. 」

「This was your basic budget motel. The room was clean ish, most of the amenities of the room worked and there was parking right in front of the door. On the down side there was a door still as is but painted closed to what was once adjoining rooms and we could hear everything in the room next to us from clear conversations to the tv and even a fart. That made it a less than comfortable or restful stay. Classic you get what you pay for with this place.」

「The room was very clean. The bathroom was very clean. It is an older building, so not perfect, but definitely cared for. Sufficient outlets. Good hot water for shower. Very good for passing through. Weekly rate was reasonable too. Nothing fancy, bed and bath. 」

「We love the charm of the little farmhouse. Loved the screened in porch and the deck. It had all the amenities we needed. If we had the time we would have stayed for much longer. Will definitely come back sometime.」

「We loved our stay at the Bourbon Co 9 house. Peaceful country setting and only a 15 minute drive to Fort Scott. This house has everything you need from a well stocked kitchen to the game room. We were in this area for a Jeep trip. Kansas Rocks OHV park is only 15 minutes away and we had a blast. We would absolutely stay here again if we come back.」
