「This is not a quiet hotel. It is more of a B&B. It is a beautiful place, and the art installations are really interesting. The furnishings in the room are really cool and funky. The neighborhood is very quaint, and the end is close to cafés and bars and galleries. That’s the good. There are no staff on site after the afternoon. One night there was no hot water. Their system usually depends on solar panels, but there had not been sun and somebody forgot to turn on the back up. The rooms...

「O café da manhã é maravilhoso. A localização também é ótima, muito próxima a praia de Ferradurinha (a minha favorita - da para ir andando) e para a rua das pedras (via uber). O quarto em que ficamos também é bastante agradável e confortável. Outro ponto de destaque é a tranquilidade e a paz do lugar. A sauna e a piscina são ótimas e à vista é um espetáculo. Por fim, a Mara e o Cris são ótimos anfitriões e cheios de energia, sem dúvidas voltaremos em breve.」

「Clean and simple room. Altho named B&B but no breakfast. Two things that stood out were the good location and pricing, as well as how safe i felt through the locked gates! But one thing to note… perhaps highlight it more obvious that there are 2 flights of stairs to climb. It was tough carrying a 25kg luggage up a very small stairs too.」

「First off, this is a favela, and it’s amazing. The views are unreal, the space is comfortable, and it’s easy to just stay here all day and not want to leave. That said, it *is* still a favela, so come prepared. If you have multiple bags, use Google Translate to arrange a motorbike or van to get up the hill.
