「There is plenty of room inside and we loved sitting on the swinging bench under the live oaks. There were lots of birds at the property and we were close to some nice natural areas. The kitchen was adequate although a drying rack for the dishes and repair of the faucet would be good additions. The mattress on the bed we used was average. All in all it is a very nice place to stay.」

「Beautiful cabin and peaceful environment. My husband and I have stayed at many VRBOs and this was the best experience we have had. It would have been the perfect place to see the total solar eclipse if the clouds hadn't rolled in. Still worth it. We enjoyed the sky, trees, birds, butterflies and deer from our secure and serene location. We felt very much at home. The cabin was immaculate.」

「Close to everything! Beautiful view of Old Baldy in Garner State Park! Although we didn’t get to float (drought) we had fun playing in the river/pool. It was all within short walking distance! Very cute little cabin! Staff was very nice and friendly!」

「The location along the river, far from the noise of town was wonderful! The dark skies perfect for star gazing! We spent so much time outside on the patio. Nathan the caretaker was very kind, friendly, and checked in on us briefly each day to be sure all was well. A terrific getaway!」

「We stayed two nights last weekend and enjoyed our little getaway. A historic building and a little quirky, but very welcoming and just steps from the riverwalk. We felt very safe there and it was a bargain for the location. The bottle of wine was a nice touch!」

「We just needed alittle get away, didn't want to have add expenses of boarding our dogs. We really wanted to take them to the beach.. it was perfect. Next time we will need to little bit more prepared for a day at the beach with dogs.. The tiny house was perfect, we brought a crate abd all blankets and sheets to put on the furniture abd the bed so our babies felt like they were at home.It was a great little getaway.」

「We gathered here for a mini family reunion and to enjoy the eclipse. The cabin was great and pretty well matched the description given. Property was clean and well managed. We had a great time and would consider Frio Fun properties again. The only comment would be that the stairs to the bedrooms aren't exactly uniform so we had to be a bit careful going up and down to avoid a misstep. Otherwise, a fantastic place to stay.」

「The house is in a great location with access to the stunningly gorgeous Frio River. We spent a few relaxing days enjoying the weather and the eclipse. The house was simple and clean and nothing fancy, which is exactly what we wanted. Plenty of room for our party of 6 which included our 5 year old. The property managers seemed very professional and super chill. I highly recommend!」
