"A beautiful place, the room was well set out with beautiful facilities. Set high in the mountains. We were in the new building, lots of stairs to negotiate. We were asked to remove our shoes & use provided plastic sliders, this was inconvenient as we had to make several trips to our motorcycle. Breakfast was superb, wonderful quality. We were looking for a place to spend the night on our way from Rome to Monaco, this place, although only a few miles from the freeway, it is located on a mountain with narrow roads that take almost 40 minutes to drive. The check in is by yourself, there are only 6 rooms and when we got there at 7 pm we were the only people in the whole building. "It was an experience to have live in an old Monastery setting. The place is beautiful and nicely kept. Rooms are big but spartan. We accepted it as it is in a Monastery. Breakfast was ample and excellent coffee."
