"Everything was absolutely perfect! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was just perfect. We loved the location; close to the pool, the restaurant, and the lobby. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the view of the marina. I enjoyed the “early bird” free coffee and watching the sun come up over the marina. We loved the heated pool and the jacuzzi. The grounds were beautiful. The food, drinks, and the staff at the Firefly were exceptional. We were pleased that there was a shuttle to SeaWorld. We will definitely be back! "

"I enjoyed my stay but a few things could stand to be improved. For starters the door into the room has a gap at the bottom you could see light coming through. The bathroom was good but no iron and it smelled like a public bathroom so I closed the lid to the toilet and the room. The bed would have been great but the mattress didn’t match the box spring that it hanged over the side of one side. The USB charging port that was provided didn’t work so I was very glad that I actually took a charging port with me. The AC unit was a window unit and while cooling I woke up hot a few times a night. The best part was the view to the beach with my balcony and the ice machine. They had the good ice and I could fill up my tumbler with ice and water."

"We were on a four night stay, After the second night we asked for a replenishment of coffee and towels. I expressed my belief that the room should be furnished with coffee daily. The host was cooperative and offered to comp one nights parking which I felt was acceptable. That didn't happen, we were not compensated one nights parking. Also, on the days the coffee WAS replenished, no sugar, creamer or stir sticks were supplied. "

"Being right on the beach made all of the difference! So amazing to watch the nightly sunset from the private balcony or even from inside from the massive window. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and bathrooms had all the basic toiletries. Easy walk to get coffee, go to the market, or to the bay side to watch the sunrise."

"The lanai wasn’t the same one from the picture, and neither was the bathroom. Our lanai was dirty and covered in bird crap. I had to clean out the drawers myself before we put our items in, they had crap in it. We didn’t get what was shown to us, nor what we paid for. If I personally pick the room, and every different room options has pictures attached to it, I expect to get what I chose. And we didn’t. It was extremely disappointing. Also make sure the front desk has manners. They are the very first people we see when we come into the resort. They should be welcoming and smiling, with positive attitudes. You know warm. Don’t have a nasty unwelcoming attitude. Go work somewhere where you can be hidden and not with guests if your like that. The very first girl we dealt with was like that when we tried to see if we could possibly check in earlier. Samantha was excellent, and the girl with the heart glasses was kind. But the first girl, needs to work somewhere else. "

"The host was welcoming. I assume he lives nearby because he was very thoughtful and sent messages just in case we forgot things outside so nothing would happen to them. The place is a little dated but the views more than make up for it. I would definitely stay again."

"Everything was good. The BBQ needs to be replaced, dangerous to use and it is in corrosive condition. They need to update their towels, sheets and pillows. They also need to add a grab bar in each of the shower/tub. We are all in our 70’s and run the risk of slipping. Also rubber bath mats would be nice. Also add more than one towel set per person."
