Take our complimentary e-bike scooters for a ride and enjoy the amazing trails that run right through the neighborhood. A back deck grill invites cookouts at home, while a fully equipped kitchen provides everything you’ll need for meal prep.

Light and bright, the stylish interior features modern luxury decor. Relax and unwind after a long day of exploration in our conversation room complete with a cozy wood burning stove, Italian leather couch, and a book nook; complimented with picturesque views of Tahoe forest that you can enjoy with the sounds of a crackling fire in the background. Hours of fun await in the upstairs Air Conditioned game room which includes arcade games; Mortal Combat, and Pacman, a game table and a comfortable sectional couch to kick up your feet and relax. In the living area, a picture perfect LG OLED smart TV is perfect for movie nights at home. Our queen size murphy bed maximizes space and sleeping capacity so that your guest will be as comfortable as possible. Cold from a long day on the slopes? Enjoy the luxury of our instant and endless hot water heater.

Shangri-La also offers two complimentary long range e-bikes, and two ride-on e-scooters that you can use during your stay. You can let the good times roll as you cruise your way to the beach. When you're done at the beach, take it for a spin into Camp Richardson or South Lake to grab a bite to eat and enjoy some of the finest breweries around.

Our secured outdoor adventure closet is a place that you can store your personal equipment such as bicycles, skis, snowboards, etc.

Your convenient cabin is minutes from Heavenly Tahoe, and downtown South Lake. Desolation Wilderness trails begin straight from your neighborhood. Stunning Pope Beach and Emerald Bay are also nearby. Ideal for day trips, this home is a great jumping-off point to Camp Richardson, Pope Beach, Emerald Bay, Zephyr Cove, and Sand Harbor.

Other things to note:
Shangri-La cabin owners pride themselves on providing an immaculate home for all guests completely free from any odors of pets or smoke.

You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay.

Bears do frequent the area and you are likely to have an encounter during your stay. Additional instructions will be provided by owner after your booking to protect our home and your belongings.

Our bed layout is as follows;
Primary Room - Queen Bed
Secondary Room - Two Full Beds
Upstairs - Queen Murphy Bed

AC is located in the upstairs space.

Guests not listed on the reservation are strictly prohibited from staying in the home.

Children ages 5 and under do not count toward maximum occupancy.

Special requests are subject to availability upon check-in and may incur additional charges; special requests cannot be guaranteed.

E-bikes and E-scooters require a $100 damage deposit prior to access instructions being provided. Helmets are not included.

Onsite parties or group events are strictly prohibited.

Animals and Smoking on the premises are prohibited as the Owner has an allergy.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

As an optional amenity, Shangri-La Lake Tahoe also offers a luxurious boat rental that you can add onto your stay that allows you to experience the breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe from the water! Both half-day and full-day rentals are available, and the boat is captained.

Boat rentals are offered between the months of May and October.
