"This is a motel with exterior doors. Our room appeared to have been recently refurbished. It was clean and comfortable. There is no elevator so we had to carry our bags up the stairs to the second floor. There are no amenities except free parking. "

"Room was very clean, floors too. Hair Dryers avble at front desk. A/C worked fine. Great view if of harbor if on 3rd or 4th floor in the middle of bldg. Enjoyed ourselves and everything is convenient to walk or bicycle or golf cart."

"We 6 "mature" ladies couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our Ocracoke getaway!! First of all, our hosts were so helpful in every way and accommodating when we "begged" to stay a second night! Communication with them was excellent. Wish we could've stayed all week! Everything was just perfect about this gorgeous vacation home. The outdoor shower...Heavenly!!! Comfortable beds and pillows!! Very clean, neat and orderly! A well-stocked kitchen!! The perfect location as far as being near the ferry, yet so close to many awesome restaurants and places to explore with our super cool golf cart. The screened in sunroom was a great place to have cocktails and play games late afternoon. The furniture was pretty and very comfortable. I'm sure the TV was nice, but we never turned it on lol. 2 awesome hammocks. Lots of games and puzzles. Such a happy place to spend our time together. We are already plotting our next visit to this beautiful and peaceful home. Many, many thanks for helping us make heartwarming forever memories with the best of friends!!:)"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this small cottage in Ocracoke. It was exactly as advertised — cozy and compact, but very clean and well kept. The open living area and kitchen made the space feel comfortable and inviting. The location was also extremely convenient for getting around the island and enjoying everything Ocracoke has to offer. We would definitely stay here again."

"The apartment was very comfortable and we enjoyed grilling outside, sitting on the deck, and being close to activities in Ocracoke.We met the host on our entrance, but she stayed quietly away during our stay."

"The location is great and check-in was quick, but unfortunately this was the worst experience we’ve had in over 10 years of staying here. We stayed in the Manager’s Apartment, and it was clear housekeeping and maintenance had been overlooked. We locked the door when we left but came back to it unlocked twice?? At 11 PM the ceiling started leaking so I had to move the furniture out of the way and discovered the loveseat was covering a nasty mess. We used towels to clean it up the leak until we could notify staff the next morning. After employees checked the leak, they didn’t pick up or replace the towels, clean the floor, or even lock the doors when they left. Helena was especially rude when I asked for extra towels and a replacement bathroom light bulb. One of the girls urgently needed the bathroom after we returned from the beach, but Helena complained that she was using the restoom in the dark. She also left the old bulb just lying on the bathroom counter afterward. The next morning, we woke up to bugs covering the bedroom ceiling, walls, and floor. The dishwasher had been pushed back so far it wouldn’t close properly, the Keurig was stored away still full of old water and a used pod, the oven door was sticky, and the freezer smelled strongly like fish. The most disappointing part wasn’t even the condition of the unit — it was the complete lack of concern after these issues were brought to Helena's attention. The pool was also closed due to a leak. Other staff were great."

"This was a great location, clean space and a great spot for pets. Everything was wonderful! The private yard was nice and not something you always get with rentals in ocracoke! Can’t wait to stay here again."
