"Great spot and view, would stay again!"

"Great room but the beds were really small. The bathroom door was frosted but you could still see through the door and there was a large mirror in front of the bathroom door. To top it off the bathroom door was a sliding door that did not close all the way, so absolutely no privacy in a room that sleeps 4!"

"There were cracks in the floor in the bathroom and there were no wash clothes or a microwave in the room."

"The location was great we walked to the Shedd aquarium in no time. The hotel was nice, we found it really irritating that we were constantly asked to join Hilton rewards by the staff standing at the elevators. Also you can not control the room temperature it was so hot and their solution was to open the windows which had no screens and it was pouring rain and everything was getting wet. They do not clean rooms or bring clean towels you have to call and ask every time you want clean towels. The history of the place is cool and they do have a Starbucks and restaurants. There is no complimentary breakfast. I’d honestly give this place a 3.5/5 stars. "

"Everything was amazing! The location is really what sold me on staying. You’re surrounded by a lot of choices to eat n shop. Ms. Glenda, one of the staff members (breakfast) was so sweet n kind to us. She even took a picture with us , once we talked n realized she had family in Mississippi. I would definitely recommend this property."

"This hotel is in the perfect central location and in walking distance to so many great spots! The prices are fantastic-even our local friends had never heard of the hotel, but upon seeing the room views and hearing of the price, say they will from now on be recommending the River Hotel to their visiting family and friends! The hotel offers great views of the river, and next door is the London House with a great roof top for some drinks! The staff, Jock in particular, was the best. He absolutely went out of his way to make our stay the best it could possibly be. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to others and would definitely come back! "

"The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The Krave Cafe area was such a treat. We felt so cared for with the face masks and light exercise equipment. We loved curling up in the window seat and enjoying the views over the river from above!"
