"The room was straight out of the 60's and tired. Got email from hotel after checking out that hotel was just purchased and needs refurbishing. If that's the case why are you charging full fare. If I order a steak at a restaurant and they run out they don't serve me a hamburger and still charge me the price of the steak. The staff were very friendly and have heard these complaints before. They handled the complaints well."

"The Rydges Sydney Airport is located perfectly at the international terminal. Thecomfortable beds and quiet rooms are the only good thing now. The self checkin process is appalling, obviously another way to decrease staff and make more money without a drop in price for the room. I still like this hotel, but Im noticing the decline in service, the expensive drinks and food in the bar and restaurant."

"Room was amazing, only issues is sometimes we didn’t get things like soap or detergent replenished properly and our last night the bed looked and felt like it was just pulled up rather than made properly where as the other nights they were fully made. it’s located in the perfect place, so convenient with shops, food restaurants/fast food and the train bus stations. Staff at front desk were very helpful friendly and caring. Pool, spa and sauna were a great plus to have available and decently clean "

"It was ok for a 1 night stay before going to the airport. They had a no show the night before so they let us check in early at 10 am. The bed was not firm at all but very soft. The airport shuttle was not free but $13 per person. So just take an uber. Coffee was not great, but had some toast and peanut butter before we left. Pictures of room look better than it actually was."
