「I cannot express how happy I was to find this beautiful place! We stayed in the Drunken Sailor cottage and it felt like home. Owner thinks of lots of little details to make you feel welcome. Perfect location, very kind yet professional staff, welcomed us immediately. Gave great directions for a super easy checkin. I didn’t want to leave. 「Very nice room and en suite. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Appreciate the coffee, wine, and water provided. Ask if your room is upstairs or downstairs if the spiral staircase would be a problem for you. The street traffic is a little noisy but didn’t really bother me. 」

「I recently stayed at circa 1785 and had a fantastic experience! The self-check-in process was seamless, and the attention to detail was impressive. we really enjoyed having a glass of wine on the second-floor piazza, as well as morning coffee on the back porch with views of the waterfront across the street.
