"The staff were beyond welcoming and accommodating, actually they were more like extended family, communicative and as involved as what we did or did not need . The rooms were clean, the breakfasts were top notch, and plentiful in meal selection. There were absolutely no troubles in getting to our room, and common areas of the house ... it was like a second home. We'll definitely be returning, in the future! Thank you both, Holly and Toby for your hospitality!"

"There were so many walkable places, including a playground at Empire Beach that our kids loved. This location was perfect for the Sleeping Bear half marathon - a short walk to the shuttle on race day. We went to a few local restaurants and of course got some gourmet chocolate! The house was within a short drive of a handful of great hikes, shops, and restaurants. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood to take in beautiful fall scenery!"

"Once again, this peaceful and serene property does not disappoint. If you’re looking for a place to relax and recharge in a beautiful setting away from all the crowds this is the place for you. Always clean and very well maintained. A place that takes you back to simpler times; starry, peace filled nights and pleasant days to hike the area. This property wraps around you like a warm glove and takes you in. You may even see a deer jumping in the front yard or hear a coyote at night. You won’t be disappointed. PM"

"We don’t have one complaint about Roamin Empire. Very clean and roomy , they had all you need for cooking. It is close to so many things to do. This is our second stay and plan on coming back next fall. If you have children they have all the toys you can imagine. Nice bikes too!!! See you next year!!"

"Love the location. Very clean. My third visit. Lots of moisture this year in Michigan so the deck (northern facing and not much direct sun) smelled a little funky. My dog was very happy with the fenced in yard -- as was I! It got plenty of sun. Issue with wasps at the front door. Not the fault of the property manager that the exterminator couldn't get there before we left. Will stay there again!"

"We had an amazing experience! It was the perfect place to use as our home base as we explored Sleeping Bear Dunes National Seashore. We fell in love with the quaint little shops on Front Street in Empire, which were just a short walk away from the property. And oh, that private beach... stunning! I'll always remember sitting on the perfectly clean shore, with a glowing campfire, enjoying a glass of Michigan wine, while watching the pristine waters of Lake Michigan gently lapping on the sand as the sun slowly set in the west. We'll remember our time there for the rest of our lives!"
