While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring. "We had a wonderful week. The pools were great and the children loved the waterpark. There are 3 different properties and you can use the different pools across all the properties. The buffet food was actually very good and there was good variety. Many options to keep the kids entertained. The only thing I didn’t like was the beach because it has lots of pebbles and my feet hurt when trying to walk on them, even inside the water. However we drove to other amazing beaches on the island so we didn’t case much about the beach at the hotel"

"The hotel is isolated close to the Samaria gorge’s trail departure. It’s perfect if you plan to visit the gorge. The hotel is a little outdated but it offers everything you need for your stay and is very affordable. The plus is the team. All of them are super nice and they make your stay unforgettable. I recommend everyone to get there just to enjoy being treated nicely in a very natural way."

"It was an amazing experience at the resort. The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the beautiful pool area and beach. A few small improvements would make the experience even more consistent with a five-star hotel: adding extra towel or robe hooks in the shower area, installing a hygienic shower in the bathroom, and providing a capsule coffee machine in the room. The location is also very convenient—just a short taxi or bus ride from Platania, with many restaurants and shops. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!"
