We stayed at Maison Lovino for our Honeymoon and our experience here was amazing. Our room was perfect and super clean. Massimo helped us check-in. He was very helpful and quick to respond. The location is perfect, you are walking distance to everything. Would definitely stay here again when we are back in Sorrento.

First of all — this is not a hotel, not even a full apartment. It’s a single apartment they chopped into 5 small rooms. It feels like an Airbnb, and honestly I don’t think Expedia should be promoting these types of “properties” — it’s confusing and disappointing. The air conditioner barely cooled the room. The towels were basically sandpaper — thin, rough, almost breaking apart, and they smelled strongly like vinegar. The bedside lamp was covered in dust and one of the ceiling lights was literally hanging down. It’s located on a pedestrian street, so you can’t drive up to the building. You have to walk about 4 blocks with your luggage. In the hallway, there was a visible crack in the ceiling that got bigger every day, and nobody made any attempt to fix it. I imagine they’re just waiting for it to finally break, fall, and flood the entire floor. The only positive thing is the location. Other than that — nothing else was good. The pillows were extremely thin, and when we moved the beds to look for something, the floor underneath was dirty. So the cleaning was definitely very poor.

Mission was the most excellent host. He helped provide restaurant options and assisted with anything else we needed. Accommodations were very clean, housekeeping daily, and were in a perfect location for shopping, restaurants, and transportation. A little street noise on the weekends if you are in a room overlooking the Main Street.

Great stay overall! The property is in an excellent location, very clean, and check-in was seamless. Having an elevator was a big plus for luggage. Just note that while it’s listed as a hotel, it’s more like a guest house and doesn’t have a 24-hour front desk person available. If you’re fine with that, it’s a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

The location in the heart of Sorrento was fantastic. We could come and go from the accommodation easily which was great when we wanted to escape the afternoon heat in the air conditioned room. The ends were comfy and the room was clean. Massimo was helpful and allowed us to check in early which we appreciated.

Everything as promised and even more

Maison Iovino is a great accommodation at a great location. When booking, I was a little apprehensive, as it was not a typical hotel. But after checking in, we found it to be better than a hotel. There were several rooms at the facility, and the facility was new and stylishly furnished. Its location on the main street is super convenient. Our host Maximo was very friendly and helpful. He gave us good restaurant and laundromat recommendations, and was even helpful in booking tours after hours. This place was everything as promised and even more.

Location location location! Right in the centre of the action on Corso Italia. Beautifully renovated and immaculately clean. Even though there are noisy eateries open rather late in the area, the brand new doors and windows lock out the noise for a restful sleep. Check in was easy - Max greeted us warmly and gave us a very informative intro to the area. Would definitely stay here again!
