We had a blast staying here! Will definitely book again! Beautiful place to take pictures! The patio was amazing! Great host, he greeted us and let us know where everything was and told us how to use the A/C.

Perfect location

Wonderful spot to stay especially if you value being able to easily walk to tasting rooms, restaurants & shopping while still enjoying a huge yard, trees and birds. The path from the backyard provides a safe and peaceful walk to town. The place was clean and comfortable and the hosts are friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location for exploring Sonoma

Great location - lovely to have a welcome basket of treats. The walking trail behind the property was fabulous. Lots of space and great that there was no chemical fragrance much appreciated (Gentle suggestion to add a couple of floor standing lamps to the main living space as the overheads are a little bright at night.)

Loved this place!

This property was a great find for our three night stay in Sonoma. Very spacious, clean and modern with more amenities than we have ever had in a VRBO rental. The owner, Jim is a great communicator and a gracious host. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay at Patrick's dojo in Sonoma

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Patrick's dojo - quiet, peaceful, conveniently located, good amenities, parking/plug to charge our EV, and a very friendly dog too (Oliver) :-) - the kids enjoyed cycling up to Whole Foods and back, walking by the stream behind the house and exploring the yard!

Fantastic Sonoma retreat

Jim was such a good host. The place was immaculate, comfortable and spacious. I felt like I was staying in my home. Great to walk into a place and there are spices and coffee for your use when you arrive, and a surprise gift awaiting us as well. I could not be more pleased.

Fabulous escape to wine country

Great place to stay with all the amenities you need. We loved being able to use the bikes to cycle into downtown Sonoma. The house is right on the bike trail.

Truly an awesome experience. Jim was really helpful getting into the property and a quick tour of the place even when we arrived late in the evening. He even had a bottle of wine and snacks ready for us! The layout, decor and cleanliness were excellent. We would defiantly stay here again.

As described - very well maintained

The property was very comfortable. Jim thoughtfully left us some snacks and a bottle of wine. Great for two couples who want to stay in the same location. Furniture was comfortable and I liked the decor.

Perfect VRBO Rental

Had a wonderful nine night stay in Sonoma. Perfect location and the rental is absolutely beautiful. My sister traveled with us so it was perfect to have the separate apartment. Everything is practically brand new and it is extremely clean. It is probably the most comfortable bed we have had in a rental. Great location close to town and the grocery stores. Loved having the bikes as there are lots of trails to ride.

Home away from home

I’m a Bay Area native, and have been renting for 10 years when home for vacations. Patrick’s Dojo was the 2nd closest thing to being at my old home. Amazing condition, quiet and peaceful and central to everything. My 3 year old actually started crying when I said we had to leave! We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Incredible Property!

I stay in VRBO rentals all over the country for works events about every month. Without a doubt this one was one of my all-time favorites! Clean, comfortable, decorated adorably, everything we could have wanted and needed was provided. Not to mention the hosts were so kind and thoughtful and helpful. Jim is an excellent host! Thank you for the wine:) and snacks. Peaceful place with nice appliances. Good location to downtown and wineries. We did use the screens provided for privacy in open space. King bed in bedroom 2 would have worked better for our party. Oliver is very friendly:)

A wonderful stay in Sonoma!

Our stay at Jim and Linda's Dojo was a memorable one! The place was immaculate, Jim was quick to meet us upon our arrival to show us everything we needed to know about the place and provided some helpful suggestions about places to visit and eat during our stay. They even provided us with a bottle of wine from their favorite vineyard! The house is just a short walk from Sonoma Square and about a half hour drive from downtown Napa, very convenient location for anything you may have planned in the area. We are looking forward to returning soon - thank you again Jim and Linda! PS - We love Oliver!!

Well appointed, comfortable lodging.

Jim’s attention to detail is evident everywhere you look. From the cooking pots and utensils to the magazines and books to provide research for your holiday, comfort and preparedness sums it up. Jim was also responsive to all inquiries, even to printing boarding passes. Coffee and creamer in each bedroom let us enjoy fresh brew even on day one before going to the store. Thanks for the great place.

Reached beyond expectations

My sister and (2) daughters stayed here for a wedding we had with family in Napa Valley. This was 20 minutes away from all the weekend events. The layout was perfect especially with having 2nd bedroom with full bathroom away from main dining area. It also had its own kitchen. The VRBO was stocked with all the amenities of home. We had washer/dryer inside home, which was a huge PLUS!! Patrick was reassuring throughout our entire (5) night stay, and met us upon arrival, reviewed everything and left a wonderfully helpful handbook guide. Downtown Sonoma was close to restaurants, wineries and shops. Patrick even left a bottle of wine for us, which was very kind. We were able to cook as well, since all kitchen equipment and utensils were provided. That was really great! It was really great to have such a huge outdoor area and we sat outside as often as possible! Patrick checked in on us as well, which was extremely nice and made all (4) of us gals feel even more secure. The VRBO was well lit at night and doors very secure which was important for us. This was the best VRBO experience and we highly recommend this comfortable home away from home vacation spot! Great home base to our busy activities of wine tasting and meeting up with friends in Sonoma,Kenwood and Napa. We loved the walk path behind the house that leads to downtown Sonoma. The place was clean, comfortable and hosts were attentive with communication and left us a lovely basket of snacks and cold wine in fridge. Will come again!

Cute place with plenty of space

My two friends and I stayed at the dojo. The directions and check in instructions were very clear. The place was cute, spacious and very clean. The hosts left a wonderful welcome basket of snacks and wine (we were there to run, so didn’t drink it). The beds were comfortable too. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location and comfortable stay.

The location is great and has access to a walking path into downtown. The downtown is very cute! Jim was a perfect host. He greeted us and told us about the property. He was also helpful in providing eating suggestions and also gave me the name for a private tour. Had a very nice stay!
