The property was amazing! Clean, open and welcoming. There were 11 of us and there was plenty of room. We had a wonderful time and will plan another trip next year!!
The house was beautiful, everything was clean and welcoming. The views were unbeatable. Watching the cows and antelope in the fields graze, and the rain and lightning storms we got this weekend was the perfect escape from the Phoenix heat.
Layout was great for 3 families with kids. All of the bedrooms are large. Second full bath and half bath are large, too, so easily shared. Plenty of space in bed and bathroom closets and cabinets. Kitchen is well-equipped, and we were able to fit 11 around the dining table. Outdoor space is delightful, and Sonoita sunsets never disappoint. Host was awesome and so easy to communicate with.
My family (ranging in ages from 9-61) enjoyed this beautiful home located conveniently across from several local cider places (and all of the wineries within minutes.) The pronghorn steer, white horses and other wildlife that are sprinkled in the fences surrounding the ranch were fascinating to my grandkids and guests. Both the front and back patio are perfect for sunrise/sunsets!! We had an amazing weekend in this beautiful home/all the amenities and just super clean/amazing host too!!

We had a great visit of family for mom's 89th birthday...great place to gather. We wanted mom to have the master suite, but that bed was too high for her...I had to "suffer" with that room :) Spent time hanging out on the back patio...birthday dinner at the Steak Out was excellent...another dinner at Tia Nita's Cantina was great pizza and beer (and sandwiches). A couple winery visits, tour of the Titan Missile Silo and a quick drive up to Parker Canyon Lake rounded out our time. We found everything we needed, and then some, to cook a couple breakfasts and make some frozen margaritas.
This was our 2nd visit to the Ranch, it’s absolutely fabulous. Eight of us from the Scottsdale Sea and Ski Club stayed at the Ranch and 14 more stayed at the Sonoita Inn. We hiked on the AZ trail, paddled on Lake Patagonia and of course we visited the wineries. Sitting on the back patio for coffee, happy hour and dinner was a highlight for everyone. The full moon, the horses and the Pronghorns … priceless! I love everything about this home, it’s spacious, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen is beyond fabulous. We look forward to returning and introducing more friends to this amazing part of our State 48! Thanks for another incredible stay.
This was our second stay and we loved it just as much as we did as the first time. It’s a beautiful home, we’re horse people so we love that the neighbors horses graze right up to the fence. The host is amazing, not a single complaint.
We rented this property for a ladies wine weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was better than we expected and very clean, and beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed to prepare meals and plenty of room for the six of us. We enjoyed the views while sitting on the patios and enjoyed the games in the backyard. The owner was extremely responsive and an overall wonderful experience. Looking forward to renting this property again next time.
Rojo Grande was absolutely GRAND! I personally think the house was decorated just for me by Joanna Gaines, but everyone in our 7 member group loved it! It was perfect for our adventurous group - we biked, hiked, spent the day at Patagonia Lake and even managed to get to Hops and Vines across the street before they closed. We enjoyed dinner on the patio followed by stargazing at night. Everything about this well appointed "ranch" was appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed. The temps were just cool enough to relax in front of the fireplace. We can't wait to return.
We loved this house, it is large with plenty of room for family! Woke up each morning and could see herd of Approx 30 antelope grazing the grassland! I would highly recommend this property you won’t be disappointed!
The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It was the perfect location for wineries, going to the lake, and just relaxing on the patio. The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful. We will definitely be back again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rojo Grande. Great location to all the wineries, very organized and clean house, good internet connection for music, plenty of utensils for cooking our meals, and simple check in and check out. The fenced yard was a nice bonus for our pups. Even wound up with a sweet hat from the Rojo Grande himself :)
This was a wonderful property, perfect for our two families. We wanted to explore southern Arizona with our Four Wheel toys and this was perfect. Plenty of secure parking for our trailers and very close riding trails just a few miles down the main road. In the afternoon we enjoyed listening from the patio of the house to the live music at the winery across the street. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets and great nearby options for dining. The house was roomy and comfortable.
Great big table for family dinners. Comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. Definitely plan on going back.
