「I feel like this will be a nice property soon. As of May 2025 it is a semi-finished renovation. Doors don't close, door handled fall off, temporary steps, sinks not installed, etc. However, the unit is very large and has three good sized beds. Once correction that is needed is that the unit does not have parking on site as listed. It is first come first serve street parking situation. It is very close to the trains and easy commute into Brussels. 」

You enter an unassuming gate to a narrow path through a garden to enter ... and as you reach the house, you are transported to a tranquil, rural setting with views of the garden and undeveloped pasture behind that is simply surreal. It feels like it's miles away from the busy traffic and provides a haven from the bustle of the city.」

「The owner entered the room without permission and without a shirt - his usual attire- and began yelling because we turned on the heat in the kitchen (a wood stove) in order to have heat in the top floor room. He said it would cost us 10 EU per day to have heat at night. The kitchen was so filthy with a rancid greese odor we could not cook anything. The room was also very dirty. The only sink in the room was up the loft stairs next to an unusable jacuzzi tub with hand held shower and was...

「This property is worth the trip to Belgium just to stay here. We used the house as our base camp to visit a number of different parts of the country. The added benefits are its location on the farm, the beautiful landscape and the wonderfully decorated house. The kitchen has everything you might need to cook up a great meal and the fresh milk in the fridge was an added benefit. Kathleen is always available and is a perfect host. Highly recommend this property. 」
