"Great hotel and spa facilities. Shame about the TVs that have no TV guide facility due to them being linked into some daft hotel menu nonsense. The two rooms I stayed in also had screens that were failing and were almost entirely blue in tone due to the cheap outdated Samsung TVs that are in all of the rooms."

"The house was beautifully decorated and furnished and clean with everything you need plus a hot tub which was prepared for us (and a second hot tub in the annex). The annex lets you split the property from the main part of the house as it has its own bedroom, living room/kitchen and small garden. The main house has a huge living room/dining room. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs (one ensuite) and two further bathrooms downstairs (one with a shower which can be used either by the main house of the annex). The location was excellent for our purpose which was to relax and walk to the beach. It is a little remote which we knew but perfect for tranquility. There are two cafes near the beach but the kitchen at the house had everything you need to prepare food at home. We had a little trouble getting in as the lock didn't work but the agent was very quick to respond, help us access the property with a key from an emergency key safe and then sent someone to look at the problem within 40 minutes. That is pretty good. "

"Carpet in my Lodge room has seen batter days, also the corridor carpet looks like many an ending to heavy nights landed on it. Food in the pub was terrible, first time i’ve ever sent a meal back anywhere. Fish and chips. Looked like the oil it was fried in hadn’t been changed in years and was inedible. "

"Had a really good stay at Wendy’s House. It was really clean, lovely warm welcome and the bed was super comfy. "

"Building and setting were glorious. Staff were very helpful. Basement studio was clean and potentially great, but slight damp smell, blinds were useless and shower was broken."

"This is a lovely house with all the facilities as described. The house is extremely clean, well equipped and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host was excellent allowing for a easy check in. We enjoyed sitting on the sea front which is a few minutes drive from the house, as was the village centre. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway. "
