This is my second time staying at this hotel, and the place is wonderful. I’m only giving it 4 stars because there were a few minor details in the room this time that I think are worth mentioning. Nothing concerning or that affected our stay, but I believe it’s helpful to point them out. Normally, there is a water bottle provided for guests, especially since the tap water is filtered. However, there wasn’t one in our room this time. Since there were three of us and we ran out of bottled water, we didn’t have a bottle to refill and keep cold in the fridge. Secondly, the bathrobes are starting to show some signs of wear and could probably be updated. Also, the bathtub faucet leaks when it is being used. That said, none of these things affected our stay at all. I know they are very attentive and make an effort to maintain a high standard, so I see these as just minor details. Other than that, my experience with the hotel was excellent. We had an issue with our reservation, and the communication and support we received to resolve it were absolutely outstanding. A 10/10 for their customer service!

Very unique property in an old bank. Just as advertised. Beautiful and interesting place. Right downtown can walk to restaurants and the water. We stayed in the steam punk room and my husband loved it as he is a plumber. Bed was comfortable. Seamless check in process. Our room was a little loud at night as we were on the outside wall..but the provided ear plugs did the trick. 🙂. Just a wonderful place. Would definitely recommend.

What a beautiful boutique hotel. It is right dowtown in the historic part of Brockville. We had a loft suite and it was so beautiful, spacious, and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful boutique hotel! We didn't see any staff while we were there. You are just given a code to use to enter the building and your suite, but we didn't have any trouble. We loved the way the suite was designed and decorated! We stayed in the "Wall" suite that has a king bed in a loft and bunk beds, kitchen and table on the lower level. Everything was lovely. It was my husband and I and our two teenaged kids. The extra half bath upstairs was very handy with the four of us there. I would caution that the lower bunk has very little clearance above it. My son hit his head more than once getting in/out of the bunk. But we loved our stay!

Unique room! Loved it. Unfortunately we got in late in the evening and my husband was sick so we had to leave first thing in the morning to head back home and couldn’t stay the 2nd night. We did not get to use the hot tub unfortunately although it looked beautiful out there. I called an emergency number and the lady was wonderful. She gave us the code we needed to get in the door that Expedia did not send us. Also, she was very nice when I told her we had to leave and helped Expedia to get our money back for the one night. Very happy about that! I think the only little thing I would’ve liked that you didn’t have was lamps beside the bed! Thanks again!

This motel was a vacant building. The doors were locked and there was no one inside causing me to get alternate accommodation. I want to be reimbursed for the money I spent on this wasted night. This sure ruined my holiday. I will make sure this fraud is brought to light.

The room is stunning and picture perfect. We used it to get ready for our wedding and then to spend our wedding night. The AC is not working in The Vault room. I tried to call the phone numbers at 9:20pm after we arrived because we noticed the remote for it was missing- neither were working (the after hours phone number just played the off the hook sound). I also sent them a message through Expedia which went unanswered. The following day I called again and this time spoke to someone. She said that the room was missing the remote because the air conditioner is broken. Told me to open a window instead. I replied that is not happening as the mosquitos flocked in when we attempted that the previous evening as there is no screen. The lady said she would speak to her manager about compensation and we have yet to hear back. At one point the lady said “I can’t control the weather.” To which I replied with “No, but you can control that air conditioning is working in your luxury boutique hotel.” We reached out to Expedia and they also could not get a hold of the staff after several calls so had to escalate this on their back end. The temperature in the room was 24-26 throughout most of the day and night making it uncomfortable to sleep in. Definitely not what I pictured for my wedding accommodations. I cannot recommend this hotel due to the rudeness of the staff and failure of communication. At no point was it stated that the AC is broken in this room in messages or room listings.

Outtstanding hotel. Everything is done electronically. No frontdesk staff present. You are given a passcode to get into the hotel and the same code to use on your hotel room. The rooms are great. Good size and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
