About the home

"Waikiki Dream" is a delightful double-storey family home in Smiths Beach just a comfortable walk from the beach and a short drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes and Cape Woolamai. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Downstairs is a large 2nd Living Room (with TV) and Bedrooms 2, 3, 4 & 5 (each with BIR), the main bathroom (with shower & toilet) and a fully equipped laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer). There is internal access to the rear yard through the Laundry. The huge upstairs open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room (with flat screen TV, DVD player & Coonara wood heater) has delightful views over Smiths Beach and provides access to a rear & front deck, a separate toilet and Bedroom 1 which features BIR and an ensuite (with shower & toilet).

Outdoor Areas

There is a rear private upstairs deck (with gas BBQ and outdoor setting), plus a second balcony at the front of the house that has been recently extended and features gorgeous water views. The driveway provides parking for up to 4 vehicles (cars and/or a boat), and the garage has a table-tennis table for some great family fun. The rear yard is fully fenced (perfect for children or pets) and also features a hot & cold water outdoor shower.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, coffee machine (Nespresso Pod), toaster, kettle, rice cooker, air fryer, etc. plus a sink, fridge, dishwasher, oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The home has 2 wall-mounted reverse cycle air-conditioning units - one in each living room. The Coonara style fireplace will keep you nice and warm and there is also one portable stand alone fan.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 10 beds, accommodating up to 14 guests:

Bedroom 1 (upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 4 (downstairs): One Tri-Bunk bed and One set of Single bunks
Bedroom 5 (downstairs): One set of Single bunks and one Single bed

Please note the Tri-bunk is a double bed base with a single bed above it.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
