「We were in town for the Race Across Scotland - crew stayed here throughout the week, and two of us who ran it were here after we finished. Was a close drive to Cocksburnpath, and to other surrounding areas. Great spot for 4 folks, and having laundry was a huge bonus. Lovely property.」

「We stayed at the Garden Cottage and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the gardens. Also we took full advantage of the many walking trails in the local area. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfy. We would love to come back again!」

「We loved our stay at The Yair. We booked it for its proximity to the river Tweed for fly fishing and found that the river runs past the property; complete with fishing hut and a gillie! The property’s owner was great in his communication and was available for anything we needed. It was fascinating to learn from him about the history of the property. Our cottage was beautiful and the hot tub was a nice addition. We would stay here again, independent of fishing.」

「Teviot Cottage was very comfortable and well appointed. It is in a great spot being walking distance to the High Street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. It was good having a second toilet downstairs. It would be helpful if there were some hooks in the bathroom either behind the door or on the wall.」

「Great location, fabulous views of the rolling hills and loch, together with a real sense of 'getting away from it all'. The downstairs of the cottage was cosy and adequately equipped. We particularly enjoyed the open fire that was set up ready to go, we only had to light it and there was plenty of spare wood to burn. A point for our own learning is that next time we will select somewhere that does not welcome pets as many parts of the upstairs did smell like dogs were there before us. So much so...
