"Classic seaside hotel with a charming restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was perfect. The view is amazing as the docks and tidal swings are so close you could touch them. We love Alma and have never had a bad time there. This hotel felt like home during our quick stay. The ONLY feedback would be re the music in the restaurant. It was sort of a giggle for us that the piano based instrumental hits from the 80s and 90s felt like we were in an elevator. By the time we were done eating though it had become a fun trivia game to guess what song it was based on the piano notes. Thank you for a great stay."

"Only positives here: great natural environment in a rural town on the edge of a national park, some good restaurants, an array of experiences, great kitchen to support our home cooking, good communication with the host. Everything we needed in this quiet, comfortable home. The host covered all the bases—even Kleenex in every room and two porches at opposite ends of the house. The owners are still in the process of perfecting their remodeling, but they have great understanding of what is needed for a traveler to feel fully at home."
