「Very friendly staff who made us most welcome. The meals were excellent. particularly breakfast. The bar was kept open, at our request, on Sunday evening so we could meet the family of the deceased before the funeral. A very important and emotional gathering of old friends.」

「Lovely quiet location. Didn’t have breakfast but the dinner night before was lovely. Clean large room. Lovely shower. The only reason I wouldn’t give it top marks is because it had 2 of my pet peeves .. Firstly no plug socket next to bed .. and secondly i hate fixed shower gel bottles when its difficult to dispense! Other than those minor annoyances, it was a great stay. 」

「The property itself okay, but unclean. The bedding was clean, but the carpeted areas and soft furnishings were not. Crumbs on the sofa and visibly dirty dusty carpet, the mattress was deeply stained brown and filled with crumbs and food waste under it. Has some cute features throughout , however, the biggest issue with this property is the incredibly vile smell of drainage or sewage that permeates in the living room. You cannot be in that room without the windows open and spraying air...
