「This was a fantastic hotel, all the previous reviews speak for themselves, everything was lovely apart from the dreadful weather which was a shame as I was looking forward to exploring the area. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it」

「A true find and we will be returning. Superb breakfast and luxurious comfort in bedroom and lounge. The gardens have woodland walks that we enjoyed as well as somewhere to sit. 」

「The staff were very welcoming at this hotel. The room was nice and big but there was a strange doorway up some steps to our room in an annex. Parking was very tight so you have to be a confident parker and access to the car park is along a road at the back of the hotel. The restaurant meals were fantastic - super quality, so much so that we didn't venture elsewhere for our evening meals. For me they were 10/10. Breakfast was ok - for some reason it didn't come above ok compared to the evening...

「Fine for my one night stay. A little bit dated but reasonably near to the town centre and with its own parking. Nice breakfast including vegan options. Very friendly staff. I can’t comment on the bar and restaurant as they were unavailable due to a large private party but the hotel warned me in advance and, at my request, suggested nearby places to eat one of which I used. 」
