Surprisingly good area with fabulous snow making/grooming, but quite crowded. Apparently, the preferred mountain of Montrealers, being only an hour from that city.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was reasonably priced. It’s not a terribly central location, especially during a transit strike. The sink in our room was clogged and the room was very warm with no way to adjust the temperature aside from opening the windows. The street was busy, so that made for a noisy night. Even though we placed towels to be replaced, they were not. The hallway outside our room also had a foul smell, almost like sulfur or sewage. Staff were pleasant and for a short stay, Hôtel St. Denis was adequate.
